Chapter 5: Hello Lyncan High!
As I stepped into the hallway everyone stopped what they were doing and was staring in my direction.
'Ok is something on my face, is my hair a mess why are they staring." I thought to myself.
Haha you fool they are admiring you. My conscience say to me.
Oh. That makes sense. I thought again before exiting my thoughts.
Well everyone went back to what they were doing as I made my way down the hallway. My hearing was kicking in because I could hear everything they were saying. How is that even possible they are whispering for god sake? Well I don't see the point of their whispering cause everyone was talking about the same guy.
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say he is Mr. Popular. Anyway though am not interested in their gossip. I just want school to start so I can join some clubs. The good part is I hear soccer try-outs are after school, so there is one thing good so far. I made my way to my locker and got my books for 1st, 2nd and 3rd period.
The lucky subject to start the day is no other than English. Oh goodie (note sarcasm). I get good grades in English but truth be told I hate it. I rather spend a session inflicting pain to myself, than have someone give me a long boring lecture.
I got to the class and got a seat way in the back next to the window. That's what you get when you are the first one to class, first preference. The warning bell went off and the class started to fill up. I took that as a warning to get my books out. I got bored so pulled out my wireless earphones and start listening to music.
So I am here just listening to my music waiting for this class to start and I have this feeling that someone is looking down on me. I did what anyone would do. I looked up.
"Can I help you?" I asked blondie while eyeing her up and down. She was wearing some black jeans shorts, a blue crop top with the word 'dope' written on it in black and black converse.
"Yes you're in my seat," blondie snapped at me, causing everyone to look at us. Ok first of all this is my first day so I won't start a war. Second of all no one snaps at me for no damn reason. I will just keep my cool before she gets hurt.
"Oh am sorry. I didn't know." I say sweetly as possible. "Would you like me to move?" If she thinks am a pushover she will get it.
"Duh." She says rudely. Ok did she just 'duh' me. After I spoke to her nicely?
"Ask nicely and I will move?" I deadpan her. Time to have some fun.
"Urg! Can you get up out of my seat?" her sweetness is as fake as her hair color.
"Since you say it that way," I say pausing to add a dramatic effect. "No." I deadpan blondie. I wish I could control her mind and let her get out my face without arguing. Hmmm let's see if it would work.
"Now get out my face with the little dignity you have left." Let's see if it work.
One, two, three.
"Errr." Was all that came out I guess it work because she left the room. I turned to see everyone looking at me with wide eyes. I'm guessing I am the first to stand up to the 'Queen Bee'.
"Let me guess. She is the queen bee." I say to the kids around me, they quickly went back to minding their own business I knew I was right. The tardy bell rang and in walked our teacher. As she start her lesson I zoned out.
It was now lunch first, second and third period went by like a blur. I was heading for my locker to put away my books before hitting the cafeteria. While putting my books into my locker a girl came up to me.
