As soon as the jet hit the ground in Fork, Washington, Felix and Demetri, along with three lesser guards sniffed the air.

"It always did smell like rain and dirt in this town, a hint of wet dog." Felix commented.

"Yes, I hate it to, but let us do our job and go home. I would rather not run into the Cullen's again, unless they wish to be beheaded." Demetri chuckled. "Master Aro wouldn't let me get away with that however."

"Unless it was maybe that younger brat. Edwin?"

"Edward, I think. Oh how he urkes me so."

The lesser guards stayed in the jet while Demetri and Felix went to go retrieve the small child.

At the Cullen's home, Seth, a shifter of the Quillette pack, came in to inform them of the new arrivals, as ordered by his alpha since no other wolf was willing to step foot on Cullen property.

"There are Volturi here?" Carlisle questioned.

"Only two." The kid answered. "One really buff guy and a smaller one. They seemed like friends to me."

"Felix and Demetri." Edward said, once he saw an image of them in Seth's thoughts.

"Why send those two?" Bella asked, remembering the brute and cocky vampire very well. "Are they here to make sure I'm a newborn already?" She shuddered in fear.

"If they wanted to do us harm they would have sent Jane and Alec, or even come themselves." Alice stated. "But that still doesn't make sense to why they're here. They would have showed up by now."

"Have you seen where they were headed?" Jasper asked.

"Last Paul and Jared saw they were headed towards Elk Street."

"T-That's where Charlie is! We have to go rescue him-"

"Calm down, Bella." Carlisle told her. "I'm sure they aren't going to harm Charlie."

"But-"

"Why don't we drive down there and see what is going on? Okay? Maybe this whole this is just a misunderstanding."

In the car Demetri was flicking through radio stations and Felix was a few seconds away from ripping his arm off.

"Music of today is so... irritating..." He sighed in defeat as he turned the radio off, much to Felix's joy.

"I don't understand it."

"It was a simpler time back then."

Once they reached the house, they noticed a little boy, with the short brown hair, playing with some rocks in the front yard, no one else in sight.

"Is that him?"

"He is the only child I see."

They stopped the car a few houses down and approached the kid. The child looked up at the two adults, slightly afraid of Felix's built. Felix had seen this and knelt down in front of the child.

"Hello."

"I not s'pose to talk to strangers." He told them quietly.

Demetri chuckled. "Very good. My name id Demetri and this giant teddy bear is Felix. See we're not strangers anymore."

"You're the guys that lady tol' me was coming to take me to mommy."

"We are. Are you ready to see her?"

"Please?"

Felix held out his hand and gently lifted the small boy in his arms. Luckly, they had gotten a car seat for him before they left. They took off and no one came out of the house to see is the boy was still there or not. The only ones who saw were the Cullen's and the three wolves.
