Candace sighed happily as she sat outside with Laci. Heidi had gone inside a while back, a new tour group making their way inside.
"I wonder when Ashton is going to let Oliver turn him?" She thought out loud and Laci laughed.
"We probably won't have to wait that long. Oliver won't let him out of his sight for to long so it may be sooner than we think."
She stood up when she saw the masters approaching, Aro motioning for her to continue what she was going.
"It is alright, Lachesis, you are not doing anything wrong."
"Hello, Aro, Marcus, Caius." Candace greeted once she heard his voice, assuming the other two were with him. "Is your business all taken care of already?"
"Yes, my love. It is." Aro answered. "We have come to join you in the gardens for a bit."
Lachesis bowed as she was dismissed to go to the feeding, the Masters already having fed previously. Caius pulled the young woman onto his lap as he sat on the bench. Aro and Marcus taking seats in the two metal chair beside them.
"How has your day been, love?" Caius asked her.
"It was great. Heidi and Laci talked to me all day. Mostly gossiping about the new secretaries and the guards. Laci also helped me brush up on my French more."
As she continued talking, the three just listened, but stiffened when they caught the scents of two vampires that weren't suppose to be back.
"We were wondering where you had gone, my kings."
Candace jumped when she heard an unfamiliar female voice.
"Sculpia. Athenadora." Aro greeted, not cheerfully the redhead noted. "We were not expecting you back for another year."
"We came back when we heard there was a new addition in the kingdom." Another female voice came.
The redhead shuddered in fear at her tone, causing Caius to tighten his grip on her slightly.
"If you are done playing with the little human, Caius, maybe we can adorn to the bedroom once more-"
Caius let out a ferrel growl that made Candace wince. Marcus pulled her away and into his arms before his brothers bolted to the two women. The redhead was shaking in fear, both Aro and Caius making the same inhuman growls. Marcus tried his best not to scare her away himself.
Caius and Aro gripped the two former queens by their neck, their teeth bared in warning.
"You will not disrespect your new Queen, Athenadora," Caius warned. "Less you wish to be beheaded at this very moment."
"New queen?" Sculpia spoke up. "What on Earth are you talking about?"
Aro and Caius made the two face the shaking woman, who they have yet to notice was afraid of them.
"This is Candace Valentine, the queen of the vampires. She is our mate and you will show respect." Aro's voice was low, menacing.
"Brothers..." Marcus tried warning them, but they didn't hear him.
"Mate? She is mated to the three of you. That is unheard of!"
"Do you think the bond fake? Hmm?" Caius tilted his head to the side.
Candace could feel their anger, could feel the tense air that surrounded them. These did not sound like the men that have shown her nothing but kindness since she's been there.
"I-I just said it was unheard of!" Athenadora exclaimed, never seeing this side of Caius in centuries, especially towards her.
Sculpia was just as afraid, Aro had never been like this to her.
