Alice hummed to herself as she finished the last of her dress for Bella and Edwards wedding. Bella was nervous and Edward was apprehensive still. Rosalie, Jasper and Emmett went to La Push, since the wolves hid them from Alice's visions. Edward was another story, Rosalie not telling anyone of her power of being able to put up a wall on others minds. Something was wrong with Edward and Bella, and even Alice. The wolf pack were starting to become weary of them a while back, once they came from Volterra.

"I think they're planning something." Jasper said, once they met up with the wolf pack on La Push beach. "Anytime Alice had visions, they have a time span apart. These were to close together, and when Edward recanted Rose and I saw a slight smirk before his face showed fear. His emotions are what bothered me. Alice and Edward were calm, to calm for people who believe are whole coven is to be destroyed."

"Isn't Alice your wife?" Jared asked.

"We are married, yes, however, over the past ten years, she's been changing. I wouldn't be surprised if we ended things at this very moment."

"Does Doc know anything about this?" Paul asked from his spot on a log. "I mean he's like the leader of your group, right?"

"Carlisle suspects something is off, as does Esme, but he doesn't want us to act upon it until we gain some sort of evidence."

"Wont that Ed-weird know everything we're talking about? He has that whole 'mind-reading' thing."

Emmett laughed at Leah's nickname for Edward, Jasper smirking slightly.

"I have the power to put up a block in people's minds." Rose spoke. "I figured that out about 30 years ago, Edward and Alice know nothing of it."

"You can put up a wall on people's minds?" Sam asked.

Rosalie nodded. "And for some reason, Alice can't see anything that revolves around the pack. We found that out when Bella jumped off a cliff and Jacob saved her. She told Edward she was dead before she confirmed it, which is why they are getting married so soon after graduation."

"These, Volturi, will they attack at anytime?"

"I doubt it." The Texan replied. "The Volturi won't attack unless a crime has been committed. There has been nothing of the sort."

"But Alice said now that they found their mate, once she's turned she'll destroy you all."

"I believe that vision to be false. We have met this woman, I've seen her around town when her family moved here the same time we did. Myself and

Emmett ran into her when she was waiting outside for her sisters that attended the high school. She's blind and her family treated her terribly, we witnessed that when her sister tripped her as she slowly made her way to the back of the van."

"I've met her at the mall." Rosaline remembered. "She sat at a bench with a water for a long time, no one came for her so I sat down and talked with her for a bit. Her mother and sisters didn't come for her for three more hours and I was there for two previously. She's the sweetest person I've met."

"If she lived here, then why was she in Italy?" Asked Seth.

"Her family must have brought her on vacation and she ran into them. The point is, once she is turned, I don't think her personality will change. We may not age, but some of us have our humanity intact."

"What are we going to do, about those two I mean?"

"The only thing we can do is wait, and be prepared, for anything. Something's coming and I don't know how soon it may be."

Back in Italy, Candace was in shock. She didn't move, didn't say a word.

"The lady was wight. I did finded you!" The child kept hugging her.

"Sorry sir, he saw her and took off..." Felix said.

"What is going on?" Candace finally spoke up.

"My dear, this is Alexander." Aro introduced.

"H-How did you-"

"Mommy I want up!"

The vampires stood like statues, gauging the redheads reactions. After a moment more, Candace reached down, feeling the small child's head, face and then finally picking him up and holding him in her arms. Alexander threw his arms around her neck once he was at that level, catching the woman off guard.

"I missed you, mommy." He whispered.

She couldn't believe this was happening.

"Believe, little red." A voice inside her head spoke. "It's him."

Tears began to pour out of both mother and child's eyes as she hugged him tighter. Aro dismissed the guards, to give them a sort of privacy.

"Meu mozo ..."(My baby boy...) she whispered in Galician. "Sentín tanto a súa falta."(I've missed you so much.)

"He was living in Forks, my dear." Aro told her. So close to where you were living."

"We moved to Forks? I never noticed..." She said once she finished crying. "How did you know?"

As Aro was about to answer, all three vampire kings heard: "Tell her an old friend told you..."

"When I heard you're thought," Aro answered, "I knew you had your child forcefully taken from you. I had Demetri find an old friend of mine in who helped us locate him for you, my dear."

"We wanted you to be fully happy, caro."(dear one.) Marcus spoke next. "We had Demetri and Felix go to Washington and bring him here."

"The family that he was with-"

"Have not noticed his disappearance as of yet." Caius answered her unasked question. "We have Heidi checking every so often to be sure."

"My friend showed myself his living conditions, they were..." He searched for a word, "tetro, per non dire altro."(bleak, to say the least.)

"I can stay with mommy fowever now, wight?" Alexander innocently asked, making the three kings chuckled.

Candace smiled. "Of course, forever and ever."

In her mind she was questioning how he knew she was his mother, but her heart, and a little voice, was telling her to live for this moment and not question it.

Sculpia and Athena scoffed at the sight that presented itself to them.

"Pathetic humans and their emotions."

"She is to be the queen? Bernardo promised us they would never find their mates." Athena scowled.

"He never just said one mate, Athena, but you are right, he should have warned us this was to occur... We need to speak with him immediately."

Athena huffed and finished packing her bags while Sculpia took once last hatefilled glance below her, before finishing her own packing.

For the rest of the day, Alexander talked and talked. He got to meet his 'Uncle Ashton' and 'Uncle Oliver'. He even started calling Felix and Demetri his uncles. Jane and Alec were in shock when he called them his brother and sister. They didn't move for a good half an hour while the child talked. Lachesis enjoyed having the kid around, he called her Auntie since he tried pronouncing her name, but ultimately failed. As the kings watched from the window in their office, the female's voice returned once more.

"He may not be your son by blood, but treat him as you would your own."

They made promise to Angela to protect her granddaughter, they would do the same for her great-grandson. No one in the vampire world would believe the Volturi were kind, until they experienced it for themselves. Big, bad, vampire lords now fathers, who knew?
