Once a while

Chapter 25

"Guys ! Take the furnitures first on the truck, it's like a Tetris game, be sure everything is at the right place!" I say to everyone that's here to help me for moving. They all nodded and took the furnitures.

I helped and once the truck was full, my friends and I headed to the new house to take out all the furnitures, we'll think about the set up later. We got back to the apartment and filled the truck with the rest of furnitures.

Someone came with the baby's crib, we went to the house again to take our the furnitures plus the crib, we went back to the apartment where Cory, Topanga, Eric, Maya's mom, Shawn, my parents and and even PappyJoe were there. They took all the boxes outside so it was easier.

We filled the truck with all the boxes and then we headed towards the new house.

Once everything was out and everyone was there, we took furnitures by furnitures and we placed them like we wanted into the house. The place was beautiful.

Then we opened the boxes and we placed everything at its place, I didn't feel at home thought, I needed a little something... And when I say little, I mean very tiny. Maya is missing.

"I miss Maya" I say to Cory and Topanga, "how has she been doing ?" I asked

"She's doing great, Riley is all over her all the time, talking to the baby and to Maya" Cory laughed. I sighted in relief as I heard the word great.

"Okay, thanks guys for taking her over..." I thanked them.

"No problem Lucas" Topanga said as she hugged me.

It literally took the whole day to do, I was very very tired, I decide to take a shower at our new house and I went to sleep on our new bedroom.

I woke up at around 6am, it was Monday I needed to go to work today. I decided since work started at 10am to go to the Matthews' and to take breakfast with the love of my life and our future son.

Once I was at the Matthews I saw Maya and I jumped on her, I attacked her with a hug and with a lot of kisses on her pretty face of hers.

"Ahemmm we're here !" Riley snapped at us.

"Maya I love you with all my heart"

"I love you too cowboy, till the end"

We separate our hug and I went over to the Mathews holding Maya's hand. I quickly hugged them all and sat at the table. Topanga gave each of us a plate with pancakes and we ate them all, I was starving.

"Wow huckleberry ! You eat that very fast ! What did you do yesterday ?" Maya asked, I have a look a everyone then I turned back to Maya. "Oh well, nothing much, I slept all day so I didn't eat, I'm catching up fast!" I laughed. Maya smiled at me and side hugged me.

"How's he ?" I said stroking Maya's belly.

"He's going great" she smiled at her belly as she put her hand on mine.

"How's she ?" I said caressing her cheeks. She looked into my eyes and smiles.

"She's doing great" she caresses my cheeks too.

"And when I said you guys were the future Corpanga..." Topanga laughed, we both let go and we all laughed together.

"Oh Lucas it's time to go to work, coming with me ?" Topanga asked me.

I nodded and kissed the love of my life and I hugged the whole family.

"Bye Lucas work good, be nice" Maya smiled

"I'm not called Lucas the good for nothing shortstack" I smiled back.

"Well since you actually want to be call mad dog..." She laughed, I looked at her and laughed too.

We closed the door and headed to Topanga's car.

"So... How are things between Maya and you ?"

"Perfect... I'm finally with the only girl that matters to me, we have a beautiful new house, we're having a baby, a puppy... Maya's scars have disappears a totally, Charlie is in prison and... And I'm living the perfect life there is"

"She loves you Lucas... More than anything, you are her hero, her savior, the father of her son, the owner of her heart... She's totally in love with you" Topanga smiled me.

The rest of the time we just talked about our lives and all. It was a normal work day. I got back to our new house and did everything they needed to be done, I arranged the baby's room and it's just beautiful
