Later that day after we'd left the pool, we all went to our houses. I decided to spend the night at Kris's again, along with Paige who we decided to get to know better, while all of the guys spent the night with Andrew.

"Anybody wanna watch a movie?" Kris asked.

"Let's watch the outsiders," I said, then glanced at Andrew and smiled.

"Yeah!" He said excitedly.

Everyone else agreed, so we watched it.

Kris and Caden sat beside each other on the couch, and beside them was Danny and Paige.

On the floor, Xavier, Karson, and I sat. Andrew had been in the kitchen getting water.

We began the movie, and when he came in, he sat beside me so close that our knees were touching.

At the contact, I got slight butterflies in my stomach. I decided to ignore it, since I know I don't feel that way about him. I saw him nervously tapping his fingers on the floor.

We watched the movie in silence, and at the end, I was extremely impressed with Andrews choice in movies.

As we started another movie, I began dozing off, and I had only watched about twenty minutes before everything went black.

When my eyes fluttered open at a loud part in the movie, and I saw the tv screen. Suddenly, I realized I had my head on someone's lap.

I felt Andrews hands playing with my hair so I didn't get up, only because it felt great.

I sighed contentedly and finished the rest of the movie.

When it was over, we all got up and decided to go to sleep.

Kris just created a large pallet on the floor and we all laid down. Benny and Paige were beside each other, and Kris and Caden. I almost put my sleeping bag beside Kris so we could talk but she looked more interested in Caden.

I opted to just put mine beside Andrew, and I looked over at him and smiled. He smiled back and laid down, looking up at the ceiling.

"Are you going to the carnival?" I asked him as I laid down as well.

"Uh huh. I hope you do too. It's gonna be pretty cool," he said, looking over at me and smiling.

"I think I am," I said, smiling back then looking at the ceiling.

We talked into the night, but I wasn't tired yet.

"Are you ready for the carnival?" I whispered to him.

"Mmhmm," he slurred sleepily.

I laughed slightly at how tired he sounded.

"Goodnight, Andrew," I muttered, a smile on my face.

"Night," he mumbled, his eyes closed.

I smiled at the boy beside me. He looked so young and innocent when when he was asleep. He looked just like a little kid, the corners of his mouth slightly curved into a smile.

I sat thinking for a while. I wondered how the carnival would go. I had gone to the one in my old town but I wondered if this one would be any different.

It's strange when you think about it. How sometimes things work out just like they should.

If it would've been up to me, I would've stayed in my old town and I never would've come here.

But now that I'm here, I wouldn't change it for the world. I have wonderful friends and I get to play baseball. Everything is just as it should be.

I was incredibly happy that I had moved to this small town now.

I laid there thinking for a long time, and eventually my eyelids began to droop.

I drifted into a deep sleep.
