I walked into my house and about ten minutes later, they all arrived.

"I'm so glad you all could make it!" My mother exclaimed cheerfully as she kissed Bill, "Olivia, this is Bill, Alexia, and Lucas, everyone, this is Olivia."

They all shook my hand and my mother and Bill began towards the kitchen.

"Olivia, why don't you show Alexia and Lucas around before dinner," she suggested smiling.

I internally groaned and began walking.

I showed them every room, downstairs and then went upstairs where three bedrooms were.

"This is my room," I said gesturing towards it, "and those are our extra bedrooms."

Lucas nodded and smiled slightly, while Alexia just glanced around.

She looked in my room where my baseball mitt, baseball bat, and baseball were sitting on the floor.

"You play baseball?" She asked, surprised.

"Yeah..." I said hesitatingly.

"Hm," she muttered, "ever thought of doing something more ladylike?" She asked.

"No, I haven't actually," I said through gritted teeth.

She just shrugged and walked downstairs.

I glared at her back, clenching my fists.

Don't get mad, Ollie, I told myself, then turned around towards Lucas.

"Sorry about her," he said, laughing slightly, "she's always been like that. I think it's cool that you play baseball," he shrugged.

"Thanks," I muttered, walking downstairs and sitting at the table.

He followed and we all ate dinner together, when my mom said something that made me incredibly annoyed.

"How about you all just spend the night here," she suggested, smiling at them.

"Sure!" Bill exclaimed, smiling at his kids.

"Alexia, you and Ollie can stay in her room!" She smiled at us.

I wanted to fight back, but she was so happy, so again, I faked a smile and said okay.

After the dinner was finally, finally over, I walked over to my mom.

"Can I go to Andrew's for a while?" I asked her.

"Well don't you want to spend time with your new siblings?" she asked smiling.

"Oh yeah, of course!" I lied, "but, I already told him I would go over there. Darn," I pretended to be upset.

"I guess if you already told him you would, it's fine," she told me, "just don't stay out too late."

"Alright mom!" I said, then walked out the door.

I knocked, and Andrew answered, shirtless as usual. I guess I had sort of gotten used to it by now.

He led me up to his room again.

"How was it?" He asked, as we sat down.

I huffed in annoyance just thinking about it, "his stupid daughter Alexia is so annoying!" I exclaimed, clenching my fists

"What about the others?" He asked.

"I guess Lucas is alright. Bill doesn't seem like a bad guy, but there's something off about him. I don't know what it is," I mumbled.

"Well hey, at least you don't have to share a room with any of them," he shrugged.

"Yeah not after my parents get married, but they're spending the night tonight and Alexia has to sleep in my room so we can bond or something," I rolled my eyes.

"What did she do that makes you hate her so much?" He asked me.

"I had to give them a stupid tour around the house, and she saw my baseball stuff in my room. She just kept saying stupid stuff, telling me to do something more ladylike, she makes me so mad," I angrily said, flopping back on the bed and sighing.

"I think it rocks that you play baseball," he said, laying back as well.

"Thanks," I muttered, smiling at him.

We talked for a few hours, when I decided to head back.

"See you later, Andrew!" I called, walking out of his house.

"See ya, Ollie," he said, shutting the door behind me.

I walked up to my room where Alexia was sitting on my bed.

She glanced at me, then turned her attention back to the tv in my room.

"Why do you play baseball anyways?" She asked, "isn't that a boys game?"

I clenched my fists and was about to punch her in the face when I stopped.

Think of what makes you happy, I thought to myself. And I found my mind drifting to thoughts of Andrew.
