Hot damn I am cranking out these chapters! It's been like, what, only a week since my last update? Anyways, I hope you enjoy this 2252 word chapter, and I'll catch you in the next one. Peace.

*Side note: all the pictures in this chapter are of the guns that are mentioned earlier in the text.*

"And here's your room, Natalie." I said, gesturing towards the door to the empty room. She brushed past me as she walked in, making sure to bump me with her shoulder. I sighed. For the past hour, I had been settling Sam, Ashley, Kat – and now Natalie – into their rooms; basically bringing them to their rooms and getting them pillows and blankets. Thankfully, Lui was there to help out with the work, but he had to go on sentry duty after we got Ashley accommodated. To make matters worse, the girls - plus Steve - kept giving me the cold shoulder (literally) and didn't show any signs of letting up. The least they can do is try to help out with this big move. I grumpily thought as I moved down the hall with the remainder of the group to settle them in.

I was trying to put Haley's groups in rooms where they wouldn't all be, well, grouped together; I needed them to feel as if they were part of the crew, so I put them in rooms that were in between rooms of the members of my crew. There were plenty of empty ones anyways. I led Bobby, Steve and Haley to the rooms at the end of the hall, next to my room. There were three doors, one to the right, one to the left, and one in the middle; the room that belonged to me was the one through the middle door. I gestured to the door on the left, unlocking it and nodding towards Bobby. "Here's your room, Bobby. In you go."

He stood there for a moment. "Uh, Vanoss, is there a chance Haley and I could-?"

"No." I answered firmly, crossing my arms across my chest, "I already know that you're going to ask and the answer is no. I don't want and don't need to hear the sounds of you two fucking each other. Understood?" I looked between the three of them: Bobby stood there gaping, looking like he was in the process of swallowing a huge marble; Haley was blushing really hard(her whole entire face and neck was beet red); Steve was trying very hard to stifle a laugh – probably trying to deny just how likable I am. (I'm insanely funny.) I gave a little smile myself as I watched the trio, before saying, "Good. Now get in your room." I pushed Bobby into his room and closed the door.

I turned around and unlocked the door to the left. "And this is your room, Madam." I said to Haley, mock bowing. She tried to push me with one arm as she walked into the room, but, because I am a master at keeping my balance, I stayed on my feet. She closed the door behind her.

Now it was just Steve and I alone in the hallway. "Alright, Steve." I started off, clasping my hands together, "We gotta talk." Huh. I seem to be saying "we have to talk" a lot lately. I mused to myself as I led him into my room. I sat down on my bed while I motioned for Steve to pull up a chair. After he got himself situated, I began, "Listen Steve, I'm not going to sugarcoat for you, but I need you to stay calm about this." He nodded for me to go ahead. I took a deep breath. Man, all these tense moments and deep breaths are really helping with my oxygen intake. That's a plus. "You have to leave and go back to your group."

He was on his feet in a second. "Hell no!" Steve protested, glaring at me, "There's no way in hell that I'm being separated from my sister again, especially since I just found her. Who do you think you are to order me to leave my family?!"

I stood up, crossing my arms. "Steve, look. I'm just a person who's trying to keep my group alive in this shithole of a city. Keeping you here isn't good for my group, and it sure as hell isn't going to be good for you. Your military friends are going to be on my ass if they find out you're here. They'll probably think that I kidnapped your or some shit like that-"
