Love has never felt like this

Chapter 4!

Shannon's POV
I woke up cuddled into Cammie's back, I didn't want to move, not just out of fear of waking her up, but I didn't want to move because.. Everything seemed so perfect right now. It was like Cammie and I were in our own little bubble, not having to worry about anything else. My life was perfect now that Cammie was in it. I'm in love with her, I know that much already and tonight.. I'm planning on asking her to officially be mine. I can't wait any longer, but I'll make sure it's special, although nothing will ever be as special as my soon-to-be girlfriend. I felt Cammie start to stir and as she rolled over to face me, I kissed her forehead and said "good morning, princess!"
"Good morning, babe" she said in her husky voice. Her voice was so adorable in the morning, I felt a smile make its way across my face. I couldn't help the way I feel about her, she makes me feel on top of the world. I want to kiss her more than anything, but I want our first kiss to be special. I've never initiated a kiss before, but Cam will definitely be my first.. If she doesn't kiss me first. "Hey Cam.. Can I take you out on a date tonight?"
"Sure, what do you wanna do?"
"Well that's a surprise, you'll find out later okay"
She smiled and then got up from the bed, and walked into the bathroom. I went in after her, and she was brushing her teeth, I kissed her cheek and went to wash in the other bathroom. When I came back, Cammie had just jumped into the shower. It was about 3pm now and I figured a perfect time to set up our date, I put some blankets and pillows in the back of my dads pick-up, and pulled the soft top over to hide it from Cam, it had be a surprise. It had to be perfect. I went back inside just as Cammie came downstairs
"hey babe, ready to go? It'll be a long drive but it's worth it trust me"
"But Shannon where are we goingggggg" she whined,
"Baby it's a surprise.. You look beautiful by the way"
"Thank you, so do you.. Come on let's go." We walked outside and I opened the car door for Cammie, running around to the drivers side and getting in.

We were finally at the drive-in. The journey was pretty smooth, apart from being pulled over. Cammie's reaction was so cute when we finally arrived, she was so excited. I uncovered the soft-top and we laid down, cuddling. Cammie looked up at me and all I wanted to do was feel her lips against mine, but I knew I had to wait until the meal I had planned. I just kissed the tip of her nose and we continued watching the film. It began to rain heavy so the movie was called off 5 minutes from the end. On the journey home Cammie asked to use the AUX cord to play a song-kiss me by Ed Sheeran. I knew it was a hint, but I just smiled and continued driving. When we got back to the house everything seemed so perfect. I pulled out Cammie's chair for her to sit on and she seemed so grateful, I placed the meal in front of her and we both tucked in. After the meal, I got up and took our plates. I held out my hand for Cammie to take. I led her to the middle of the room where I had moved furniture to create a dance floor. I played Kiss Me, just like she had done in the car. We swayed gently to the music, my hands resting on her waist, and her arms wrapped around my neck with her head on my shoulder. I spun her and then dipped her.. And this point, I knew I could resist no longer. "Camden Scott will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I'd love to"
I lifted her back up from the dip and gazed into her beautiful green eyes.. I saw her eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips, we both began to lean in until we felt each other's lips on our own. I felt the sparks fly and the fireworks explode. It was like gay heaven, and I was out making some gangels (gay Angels), or rather I was making out with a gangel. Everything seemed so perfect. I felt her pushing back against me, guiding me to the sofa. I felt my knees buckle as I hit the front of it, I landed on the sofa, with Cammie on my lap. By this point it was a full on heated make out session, but I wouldn't stop it for the world. I felt her tongue begging for an entrance, of course I granted it. We finally stopped out of lack of oxygen. She climbed off my lap, and cuddled into me, her head against my chest. We both fell into a deep, peaceful sleep. When we woke up a blanket had been placed over us, I was confused at first but then I realised-my dad must be home. Cammie began to stir against my chest "good morning girlfriend" I say confidently.
"Good morning girlfriend" she laughs. I then hear footsteps coming down the stairs, and all of a sudden my dad appears looking frustrated in the doorway. He looks almost.. Angry?
"Shannon we gotta talk"
I felt Cammie jump against my chest.
"Uh sure.."
