***TimeSkip//Shan'sPoV***
Cam and I were just about to enter the room to our hotel, we had decided that we were going to go to Hawaii with Cammie's family. What with planning our wedding and everything, our lives had become kind of stressful. Although we both knew it was 100% what we wanted, we weren't used to the pressure that came with this much planning. There were the invites, the food, the venue, the after party, the flowers and everything else. We had been kind of snappy at each other and it was getting to the point where we knew we needed a break. Cammie has been really distant and it just makes me wonder if she even wants to marry me anymore.. I don't want to think like that but let's be real.. It's possible. I'm so terrified that one day she'll just turn around and say she doesn't want to be with me anymore. She's the love of my life, she always has been and she always will be no matter what happens. She's my best friend, my lover, my soulmate, my everything. If I lost her I don't know where I'd be. Cammie and I's flight was a couple of hours before anybody else's so we were here before them. We got changed and decided to go to a bar across the street. We sat down and ordered a drink. I had a beer and Cammie had her usual, wine. We were sitting there playing jenga when a couple of guys wolf-whistled at Cam.
"Hey! Do you mind!"
"We're just trying to have a bit of fun! Calm your self down woman"
"Don't talk to me like that"
"Come on girl, why don't we get out of here" he grabbed Cam's arm.
"Oh uh.. No thank you.." She smiled and said politely.
"Oh come on, we just want to have some fun.. Let's have some beers? Come on, our friends are over there" he pointed to a group of girls.
"Well I mean.. One drink can't hurt, right Shan?"
"Cam are you being serious!"
"Oh come on Shannon, lighten up.. Let me go make some friends I don't have to be around you all the time! God you're so clingy and annoying sometimes!"
The boy just laughed.
"Shut the fuck up you! Leave me alone to talk to my girlfriend will you?!" I shouted at him and pushed him back.
"Oh lesbians!!" He leaned in close and whispered "she just needs a bit of meat to show her she isn't gay, I'll give to her later don't worry.."
"You fucking asshole, fuck off now!"
"Shannon stop being so rude! Gosh he's just trying to have a good time!"
"Cammie are you serious! Taking this assholes side over your fiancées?!"
"Yes Shannon because he's done nothing wrong, you're just insanely jealous! I'm going to have a drink with his friends now, bye!"
"Fine! For fuck sake!"
She walked off and I got so angry that a slammed the glass down, almost breaking it.. I put my head in my hands and felt the tears welling in my eyes. This just confirms my fears, maybe she really doesn't want to marry me. Maybe she's just too afraid to come out and say it! Ever since I proposed we just have not been happy at all. I looked over at Cam and saw one of the girls looking back at me, a smirk on her face, and she leaned in and kissed Cammie on the cheek, of course Cammie seemed uncomfortable but she didn't stop it. In fact all of them kissed her cheek and she just laughed. The same girl tucked a strand of Cam's hair behind her ear and they smiled at each other. There was no way I was going to watch this any longer! I stormed over to the table and picked Cammie up, putting her over my shoulder and carrying her outside so she would have no choice but to talk to me.
"Cammie what the hell! They're flirting with you!"
"Gosh stop being paranoid Shannon I'm just having fun!"
"You know what? I've fucking had enough of it! So fucking much! Ever since I proposed to you, you've been different.. So I tell you what, why don't you take that hoe back to the fucking apartment and fuck her! Cause that what it seems you wanna do! The wedding is off Camden, you're not the same person. You're not MY Cammie." I saw tears forming in her eyes, but it had to be said. My voice softened now.
"If you see my Cammie tell her I love her and miss her, and that she should come back soon. Because this.. This is not the real Cammie. I love that Cammie, but this one is barely even a person. I've spent so much of my time wondering if you even want to marry me anymore. So I tell you what, I'll go get my stuff, I'll stay at a different hotel and I won't talk to you. When you figure out what you want, you call me and I'll come to the hotel. If you don't call in the week I know it's over for good."
At this point she was completely sobbing.
"Goodbye Camden" my voice cracked slightly and tears spilled over onto my face. I turned around, went back to the room and got my stuff, I then went to a hotel and luckily they had a room. I dropped my stuff off and went out to a bar a couple of blocks down. I was definitely going to drown my sorrows tonight.***Cammie'sPoV***
Shannon just broke up with me. I didn't realise how much of a bitch I was being until I heard it from her view. Things have just been so stressful for me.. I found out that my grandma was dying and that she was very ill. I couldn't find the words to tell Shannon so she didn't know what I was going through. I pulled out my phone and my mom was calling, I answered. "Cam, where are you sweetie?"
"Mom.." I whispered, my voice scratchy. I felt her jolly tone disappear and a worried and panicky one take over.
"Cammie what's wrong?"
"I've been such a bitch, mom.. Shannon broke up with me.." I cry into the phone.
"I can see you from the hotel, dads coming down to get you right now!"
"Okay.." I sob even harder. I see my dad run across the street, I just collapse onto him, giving him a massive hug.
"Come on Cam's, it's okay.. Shannon's just angry, you can fix it. That girl loves you more than your mother and I do.. Don't tell your mom I said that though"
I gently laugh. My dad picks me up bridal style and takes me to the hotel. My eyes become very heavy and I find myself falling asleep in his arms. Next thing I know, he had just put me down on the bed.
"Go to sleep Cam, you can talk to Shannon tomorrow okay baby.."
I nod slightly and fall into an uncomfortable sleep, wondering how I'm going to make it up to Shannon, or if she'll even give me another chance.
