Love has never felt like this

Chapter 7!

***Cammie's POV***
I woke up on Shan's chest, it was once of the best sleeps I've ever had. I could tell she felt relieved when her dad had said all of that stuff yesterday. You could see the bond between them, and how deep they really do love each other. I hope today goes well, Shan and I are meeting Shan's dads girlfriend. I have to leave tonight to go back to Pittsburgh and I don't want to leave on a downer. These few months have been such a great time, but I have missed my family a lot. Living with Shan has been perfect and I know that I definitely want to move in with her soon.. I'm in love with her and.. I know that I wanna marry her someday. I feel Shan stirring so I go up and gently kiss along her jawline, I feel her smile when I do this. "Good morning princess" she says,
"Morning baby, how you feeling today?"
"I'm good but I don't want you to leave Cam"
"I know.. I don't want to either but I got to.. How about we watch a movie until your dads girlfriend comes?"
"Sure.."
We stick on a movie and then by the time it finishes, Shan's terrified obviously but we hear the doorbell ring, signalling Shan's dads girlfriend has arrived. As we go downstairs we hear "Hey, it's great to see you.. This is Shannon" he point to Shannon. "My daughter, and this" he points to me.. "Is Shannon's girlfriend"
"Hi" Shan and I both say at the same time, she smiles at us shyly "it's great to meet you two, I've heard a lot"
We smile and then go to eat, Shan's dad made the whole meal vegan for me, that showed us he really was trying. "Thank you for the dinner Mr Beveridge, it was really nice!"
"Oh you're welcome Cammie"
Shan and I went upstairs to get my bags, I'd packed my bags before we went to eat. Shan just stood there staring at me, I could see the tears in her eyes.. "I'm really gonna miss you Cam.. I wish you didn't have to leave.."
"I know baby.. I'm gonna miss you too.. I have to leave but I promise we'll see each other soon.. Okay.. As soon as possible.. Maybe you could come to Pittsburgh next time and.. Meet my family?"
"Really?
I nod.
"I'd love to cam!" She jumps on me, wrapping her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist, she still had that sweet scent. I held her as tight as possible. The journey to the airport was a sad and silent one.. I gripped her hand the entire way. When I was about to go and board the plane, Shan grabbed my wrist, spinning me around and kissed me more passionately than she ever had. "I love you so much Cam.."
"I love you too baby.. We can FaceTime everyday until you come and see me.. Yeah?"
"Yeah.. Have a safe flight Cam.. Please message me when you're home so I know you're safe"
"I will babe"
And with that.. I walked away and boarded the plane.. Tears streaming down my face. I was so worried Shan would find somebody better than me whilst I was gone. The plane ride was a long and unpleasant one.. As soon as I got home I was exhausted so I decided to go to sleep, before I did I messaged Shan "hey baby.. I just got home.. The plane ride was awful and I didn't get any sleep so I'm going to try and sleep now. I love you so much and please remember to smile because it's so beautiful! I love you ShanBam💙💙" and with that I fell into an uncomfortable sleep, not used to Shan not being right next to me.
