Love has never felt like this

Chapter 13!

Cam and I had to wake up early this morning; today was the day we were moving to LA. We had put all of Cam's stuff in her car and she was driving us to Dallas so that we could put all the stuff in the moving van, and get all of my stuff too. We woke up about 3am. We knew it would be a long drive to Dallas, and then to LA but it would definitely be worth it. I mean, I get to live with the girl of my dreams, in the apartment of my dreams, in the city of my dreams. One day, when Cam and I have our family and stuff.. I kinda wanna move to London. I never see Rose and Rosie enough, and Ally and Stevie are planning to move there too. Cam and I think it would be amazing to move there, and our families said they'd always wanted to move there and if we moved, it would be the perfect excuse for them. I had been driving Cam's car to my house in Dallas. Cam had been asleep for 2 hours but in about 20 minutes, we'd be at my childhood home. I didn't want to wake up Cam cause the poor soul barely had any sleep, I think she's getting sick.. Not the best way to start our lives in LA together. We finally arrived at my house and I decided to let Cam sleep in a bit. I got out of the car and began to pack up the moving van, then I quietly got all the stuff out of Cam's car and put that in the moving van. We were finally all packed up 2 and a half hours later. All the while Cam was still asleep in the car. I locked the car and went inside the house, enjoying my last half an hour with my mom. After I had drank my coffee, I put a coffee in a travel mug for Cam and I, and then went outside to wake up Cam. I opened her side of the door, and gently kissed her cheek..
"Cam baby, you gotta wake up, it's time to put the car on the back of the moving van"
"Mmm Shan.. Can we sleep for a while?"
I laugh.
"Cam you've been sleeping the whole time we've been coming to Dallas, and an extra two and a half hours"
She laughs.
"You're a sleepy girl, Camden." I say.
Cam gets out of the car, and I drive it smoothly onto the back of the moving van. I get out and lock it, my grandad making sure the car is locked down, so it doesn't roll off. I can tell Cam still feels pretty sick, so I gently take her wrist and pull her towards me, engulfing her in a hug, kissing the side of her head.
"You're so warm, Shan. You're amazing.. I don't know where I'd be without you baby.."
"I know baby, it's okay"
"Girls it's ready!" My grandad shouted.
"Ready, baby?" I asked Cam. She nodded.
"I'll drive.." She replied
"Are you sure, princess? You're still sick."
"I'll be fine.."
I kiss her and then we take off on our journey to LA. Cam's friend from Pittsburgh also wanted to move to LA, and since there were 3 rooms, she was moving into our apartment with us, which would help pay the bills. Her name is Heather, and she's already there and settled in.

***Cammie'sPOV***

We had been on the road for god knows how long, I decided to stop and get Shan and I some food, she fell asleep about 2 hours back. I wake her up and tell her that we're gonna go get some food. Shan sleepily trots over to my side of the van and opens the door, even when she's tired, she's so sweet. I get out, peck her cheek, lock the van, and grab her hand, walking in to order our food. I got a chicken Caesar salad, with a bottle of water, whilst Shan got a cheeseburger, fries and a diet Dr Pepper. We ate, Shan could see I was feeling sick again so she came closer to me on the bench and cuddled me. It felt so good to know that I could get Shan's cuddles whenever I wanted to. When Shan and I and our roommate Heather are all settled in, we definitely want to get a dog. I can't wait to live my life with Shan. After we had eaten, we decided to get back on the road. We only had another hour or so to go, so I told Shannon to go back to sleep, but she insisted that she was driving the remaining hour, and that I should sleep as I was sick. I knew I wasn't going to be able to though because I can't cuddle Shan whilst she's driving. I sat in the passengers seat, wearing Shan's hoody and holding her hand. I was thinking about how far Shan and I had come. In 4 weeks time, Shan and I would be celebrating our 3 year anniversary and also my birthday. We got together on my birthday.. Best gift ever, am I right? I'm so in love with Shan. And the years that I've been with her have been the best ones of my life- even with all our problems. Shannon has flaws, much like everybody else, but the difference is.. Her flaws make me love her even more. After another hour and half driving, we finally made it to our apartment, we unloaded the moving van, placing everything in the apartment where Heather was waiting for us. We packed everything away and we were exhausted, so Shan and I went to OUR room, got changed in OUR closet, and then cuddled up in OUR bed. Everything was perfect. Shan had this weird look in her eye when she was staring at me. It was like she had something on her mind that she wanted to ask me but was too afraid.. I was too tired to even ask though, I rolled over onto Shan's chest and fell into a deep sleep.
