Chapter 22!

It had been roughly a week since Cammie and I had been back in LA. Whilst Cammie has been sending out Ripple Effect orders, I've been secretly sorting out stuff for the wedding. I have organised the flowers, the venue, the music, basically everything except the bachelorette party we'd be having. Heather was organising Cammie's and Vannesa mine. I walked out of our bedroom and Cam was sitting on the sofa watching a movie whilst sending out emails. I walked over to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of water, drinking it rather quickly and then placing it in the sink. I decided to play a little game to get Cammie's attention. I put on some music quietly and began to dance around like a complete and utter idiot. I did this for about 10 minutes but Cammie was completely oblivious! I knew I was going to have to up my game. I turned off the music and left my phone on the counter. I walked over to where Cam was sitting and I lifted the laptop from her waist, placing it on the coffee table.

"Shannon! I was working sending emails! You can't just take the laptop off of me when I'm doing important stu-"

I cut her off by attaching her lips together, I placed my hand on her waist and sat down next to her. I felt her whole body relax into my touch and she moaned, sending vibrations through my mouth. She gently lifted herself up, being careful not to disconnect our lips, and gently plopped herself down on my lap. She placed her arms around my neck and brought me closer to her, attempting to eliminate any space between us. It had been a long time since we had had such an intimate moment with each other. Her lips were so soft, like a pillow. I pulled away from the kiss, breathing heavily after our make out session.

"Holy shit, Cam.."
"I know.. I've missed you.."
"What do you mean you've missed me, I've been right here the whole time you numpty" I laughed back.
"No.. Shan.. I've missed us.. I've missed the way you make me feel, the butterflies that swarm my stomach when we kiss, I've missed the way you make me feel so good when we make love.. I've just missed this.."

She looked deep into my eyes, as I looked deep into hers.

"I've missed you too, princess. I really have.. Let's make a promise right now to never let that happen between us again?"
"I promise, baby."
We connect our pinky's and smile goofily at each other.
"I'm having an oh wow moment, Cam.."
"You are? That's so cute baby!" She kissed my cheek and hid her head in the crook of my neck, I could feel her smiling against my skin, and this elicited an even bigger smile to spread across my face from ear to ear.

I kissed her cheek again.
"Wanna order in some sushi and have a movie night?"
She nodded eagerly but made no effort to move. 
"Well in order for me to order you gotta get off my lap baby girl" I laughed and she blushed a deep shade of red, slowly getting out of my lap. She began to pick up the laptop but I stopped her.
"Shan I promise I have two more emails left to send, when I'm done, food will be here and then I'm all yours for the rest of the night. I promise.."
I smiled and then released my hand from the laptop, allowing her to continue. I went to take a quick shower and once I had gotten out, there was a knock at the door. I walked out into the living room and opened the door.

"Hey you ordered sushi?"
"Yeah great, how much will that be?"
"Oh uh 27 dollars please, beautiful"
He winked at me and I smiled uncomfortably. I handed him the money and he gave me the food. Instead of then walking away, he stood there awkwardly.
"So um.. I think you're really beautiful.. And I was just wondering if maybe I could get your number and take you out on a date?"
I felt Cam come up behind me and wrap her arms around my waist.
"Hey what's taking so long?" Cam said.
"Oh cute best friends awesome, so how about a double date then?" He replies, completely missing the fact Cam and I are together.
"Listen dude, I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression, but she doesn't wanna go out with you.." Cam says without hesitation.
"Woah, excuse me but I think the pretty lady can answer me herself." He looked back towards me.
"Hey buddy don't talk to my fiancée that way!"
"Oh shit! I'm sorry I didn't realise! I'll just um.. Go.." He trailed off and left and Cam and I walked back inside.

We sat on the couch eating our sushi and watching the purge. It was really scary and every so often it made me jump, I finished my food and took mine and Cam's rubbish to the kitchen and cleaned it all, washing the dishes at the same time. I came back to the sofa and laid my head on Cam's lap. I looked up at her and she pecked my lips. I was too busy watching Cam to even pay the slight bit of attention to the film. I suddenly shot up, remembering I have to tell her something.

"Shan babe, what's wrong?" She yawned.
"Um.. Okay.. Uh.. Don't be mad but.. I know how stressed you were about the wedding but.. I took care of it.. I arranged it all as I guess a surprise for you? We're getting married next year on your birthday/our anniversary.."
"Oh my god.. Shannon.."
"Are.. Are you mad at me?"
"Mad! Why would I be mad? You just surprised me with the best thing ever! It's finally arranged! I'm gonna get to become Mrs Shannon Beveridge! I can't wait baby, thank you so much!"

She practically jumped on me, kissing all over my face. Then she got off of me, standing up in front of me.
"What're you doing, princess?"
"I think you deserve a little treat for that surprise.." She whispered seductively as she reached the hem of her shirt, pulling it over her head, leaving her in her bra. I felt a twinge between my legs and instantly felt wet. She played a slow song and got on my lap, giving me a lap dance, and because she had no top on, her boobs were in my face, not that I'm complaining of course. She began grinding against me, and I grabbed her butt, squeezing it whilst also letting out a small moan. She attached our lips desperately, continuing to grind up on me. She was turning me on so bad. We broke apart and she stood up, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the bedroom where we made love way into the early morning. After multiple rounds, we eventually fell asleep. We were both naked still, but I was cuddling into Cam this time instead of the other way round like usual. But it felt super good, and it was one of the best sleeps I ever had.
