Love has never felt like this

Chapter 8!

It had been many months since Cammie had gone back to Pittsburgh. I miss her like crazy! We'd face-timed everyday, and at this current moment I had just got off of video calling with her. "Shan Hun, come eat dinner" my m9m called from downstairs (I came to visit her as I haven't seen her in a while). I sat down and my mom served the food, we ate, creating general conversation throughout. Just as I was about to leave and go back upstairs my mom interrupted me: "Shan sit, I want to talk to you about something."
"Uh.. Okay.. Sure.. What is it?"
"Well how long have you been dating.. Camden is it?"
"Yeah.. We've been dating for 10 months  in a couple of weeks"
"Well when am I gonna meet the lovely lady? You're always talking about her, saying how amazing she is, yet I still haven't met her!"
"Well I mean, I'd love for you to meet her mom.. But she lives in Pittsburgh.. It's not like I can just call her to come over, you know? I mean I still have to meet her family too.."
"Well Christmas is in a couple of weeks, right?"
"Yeah..?"
"Well Casey is coming back in a week.. How would you feel if we all went to Pittsburgh? That way you could meet Camden's family, and Casey, Byron and I can meet Camden herself."
"Wait seriously? You'd do that? Like pay for all of us to go?"
"Of course, you're always saying how you think Camden's the one, I think we deserve to meet each other if you're going to end up married and stuff!"
"YES THANK YOU MOM! I love you!"
I stand up and hug her tightly.
"You're welcome,  sweetie. I love you too! Now go and tell Camden the good news!"
"I will! Cammie's going to be so excited!" I let go and run upstairs, jumping on my bed and instantly pulling out my phone, calling Cammie.
It rings 4 times before she picks up.
"Shannon Nicole Beveridge.. To what do I owe this pleasure?"
"My mom just sat me down and told me something! I can't wait!"
"Woah Shan baby calm down! What'd she tell you?"
"Well.. In a couple of weeks.. Do you know what it is?"
"Of course.. It's christmas.. I'm so sad I won't get to see you though.."
"Well that's the thing! My mom wants to meet you and she said it's about time I meet your family too.. And.. She's paying for me, Casey, Byron and herself to come to Pittsburgh! We get to spend christmas together baby!"
I practically shouted down the phone.
"OH MY GOSH SHAN! Your mom is amazing! I can't wait babe!"
"I'm finally going to get to hold you, and kiss those lips Cam.. I'm finally going to be home.. You're my home Cam.. I love you so much!"
"I love you too, beautiful! I love you so much!"
We start to talk a couple more hours and then we have to sleep.

Casey and Byron have just arrived back and we're leaving to go to Pittsburgh in a few hours! Cam and I are so excited to see each other, she's even picking me up from the airport. Cam's family were super awesome about us coming and instead of us getting a hotel room, they offered to let us stay in their home. All four of us ate some pizza and then went to the airport. I told everybody I was going to go and run and get some Starbucks and whilst I was there I texted Cam.
"Hey baby! I'm in Starbucks right now, we're about to board the plane but I just wanted to say that I love you and I can't wait to see you CamBam❤️❤️❤️"
After this I switched off my phone and we boarded the plane. All four of us got relatively decent seats, and I managed to sleep practically the whole way there. My mom woke me just as we were landing. I then started to get very nervous.. It had been 6 months since I had last seen Cam.. What if things had changed between us? I got off the plane and headed to pick up our bags, once I had finally found my bag after what seemed like a million years, I turned around to be met with these beautiful olive green eyes. Cam. I felt a smile beginning to form and as I looked down I saw her holding a sign "my beautiful ShanBam💙" tears began to glaze over my eyes as I ran towards cam, dropping my bags and instantly jumping on to cam, my legs finding their way around her waist, as my arms did around her neck. She smelled so good, I couldn't believe how much I'd missed her.
"I've missed you so much Cam, I love you" I whisper in her ear.
"I've missed you too baby, and I love you" she whispers back.
After some time we finally let go of each other, I turn around to be greeted with adoration in the faces of my family. They all had a massive smile, and tears glazing over their eyes. They could see how happy I'd missed Cammie. I smiled slightly and grabbed Cam's hand with my right hand, and in my left I held my bag. "Cam this is my mum Debbie"
"Nice to meet you, Debbie"
"Please, call me Deb Camden"
"Cammie or Cam is also good for her too mom, right cam?"
"Yeah of course"
"Cam; this is Casey.. My sister"
"Nice to meet you I've heard a lot about you Cam, this one never stops talking about you!"
"Only good things I hope" we all laugh and she kisses my cheek.
"And last and definitely least" we all crack up at this, "we have Byron, Case's boyfriend"
"Nice to meet you, Byron"
"You too Cam"
She shook Byron's hand and with that we all headed outside, Cam was driving us all to her house. Cam and I were walking slightly further back than the rest of my family, she had taken my bag from me also. We were holding hands, not caring about what anybody thought. "I've missed you so much Shan, I'm so glad I've finally got you by my side!" She kisses my cheek.
"I've missed you more Cam.. I love you so much.."
At this point we stop and properly kiss for the first time in months, my hands resting on her waist, her hands wrapped around my neck. I had missed this more than anything, this and cuddling. "Come on lovebirds lets get a move on, it's cold in Pittsburgh!"
I flip Casey off and then we all laugh, cam puts our bags in the trunk and then we set off, my mom, Casey and Byron in the back, and me in the passengers seat, holding hands with Cam. After about half an hour of driving, we finally pull up to a rather large house. Well this is where I live. Come on in guys, we all grab our stuff from the trunk, and as we're walking in, Cammie grabs my hand once again, like she's afraid that if she lets go, I'll be gone again. First, Cam introduces my family to hers and then after that it's my turn to be individually introduced. "Guys, this is Shannon, Shan, this is my mom, dad and brother"
"Nice to meet you Shannon" they all say in canon.
"Nice to meet you too" I laugh back.
My family goes to unpack and so do I, I was staying in Cam's room obviously. It was a nicely spaced out room with a large bed (score!). I dropped my bags and instantly wrapped my arms around Cam, leading us both to the bed so that we could cuddle properly. We started off kissing, facing each other, and by the end of our make out session, Cam was on top. I couldn't explain the way she makes me feel. I know i want to go that extra step with her but.. I'm not too sure how she'd feel about that. I want to make love to my girlfriend, and show her how much she means to me. I want to please her. But if Cam decided she wants to wait, then of course I'll wait until she's ready. I'd never push her into anything like that. We're both virgins and of course we have no experience, but I'd still want to be her first, and who better to take mine than her? Nobody. Cam is my whole world and I can't wait to spend my life with her. I've also been thinking about what it'd be like to live with her.. I'd love to see her beautiful face every day. To wake up next to her every day. I realised I had just been staring into her eyes, smiling for the past 5 minutes. "I love you so much Cam.."
"I love you too baby.. Come on let's go watch some TV with our families yeah?"
"Sure"
I took off my shoes and changed into some joggers, Cam grabbed my hand and we walked into the living room, as I sat down on the couch, Cam instantly lifted up my arms and cuddled into the side of me, I kissed her forehead and ran my hands through her hair. We must have fallen asleep because when I woke, it was dark outside, I could have sworn I heard what sounded like Camera's taking a picture just before I woke up properly? I'm not sure. Maybe I was just imagining it. I felt Cam stirring next to me.. "Hey beautiful" I gently placed a kiss upon her lips
"hm I've missed this" she replies.
"I've missed that cute little morning voice" I say, and she laughs. With that her mom's voice rings through the house.
"Guys.. Dinner is now ready!" And we all walk into the dining room..
