Lewis’s POV:

‘I hope she is okay, she has been in there awhile. I do hope she is not too upset, I don’t want her crying. I can deal with myself crying but not others’- I was snapped out of my train of thought by a gate being locked. It was the girl; you could tell she had been crying but she was putting a ‘brave face’ on.

“Hey” she said half-whisper.

“Hi” I replied, “you okay?”

She nodded and sniffed. I opened my arms out wide and she walked into them. We wrapped our arms around each other and I whispered softly into her ear, “It’s okay. I know how you feel. My mother past away a few years ago”. ‘I hadn’t told anyone that before’.

“I’m sorry” she said quietly as she pulled away from me, ‘I wanted that hug to last forever but I suppose it was inventible; it would end eventually’. “Sorry for crying, I look so stupid” she said.

“You’re not stupid! It’s okay if you cry, everyone cries” I comforted her. “wanna come back to mine for a bit?” I asked her, knowing my dad wouldn’t be home yet.

“Sure!” she answered, “I’d love to”.

“Great, this way” I gestured as we set off down the road.

“Here we are, come on in” I said as we stepped through the door. ‘I wish I cleaned up a bit so she doesn’t find anything which my dad has left about. I will have to be careful’.

“Thanks” she replied.

“wanna drink?”

“What do you have?”

“Ermm... Coke, Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Milk, Water.. I think that’s it” I laughed.

“Oh the choice” she laughed back, “what you having?”

“Hot chocolate”

“I will have that too then” she smiled. ‘Her smile was so beautiful, it’s a shame I haven’t seen it properly until now.’

“You can wait in my room if you want, it’s up the stairs, turn right, then up the stairs again. Will you remember that?” I joked as I recently found out she was bad with directions.

“It’s up the stairs, turn right, then up the stairs again” she repeated.

“Correct” I smiled. “Be up in a minute”.

I went into the kitchen and put the kettle on. While it was boiling, I was rushing around the house trying to clean up a bit, getting rid of all the pizza boxes and beer bottles which my dad had left around. My mind was also racing; ‘I was slightly, no in fact very nervous about bringing such a beautiful girl to my house. I had to keep my cool’. After the kettle boiled, I poured the drinks before putting them on a tray, adding biscuits, and taking them upstairs.

“Here we go” I smiled as I walked into my room which the girl was standing in, looking at my posters. “I am surprised I didn’t spill them”. She came over and sat next to me on my bed before I handed her a mug.

“Thanks haven’t had hot chocolate in ages!” she told me. “By the way, I love your room. I have some of the same posters up” she giggled.

“I thought that was a Bring Me The Horizon jacket” I said.

“Yeah it is, I love them!”

“Oh my God, same!” I exclaimed almost spilling my drink.

“Oli is perfect! Just putting that out there”

“He really is! I would” I laughed, slightly embarrassed.

“Same!” she agreed, “who else do you listen to?”

“Pierce The Veil, Asking Alexandria, Marilyn Manson, All Time Low, Green Day and Paramore” I listed.

“I like all of them, especially All Time Low and Pierce The Veil” She said. “Hayley Williams, I would she giggled.

“Same, most flawless woman alive” I smiled.

“Agreed… what time is it?” she asked.

Just after 6, wow time flies!” I answered.

“Shit! I should be home now, I’m so sorry but I need to go now” she looked down, sad.

“Aw let me walk you. Like I said earlier, it is rough ‘round here.” ‘I just wanted to be with her as long as possible’.

“Thanks” she smiled before laughing, “at least I won’t get lost!”

“True” I giggled.

“Well this is me” she said as she stopped outside a nice, homely house, “thanks again for walking me”.

“Anytime” I smiled… “Oh, I’m Lewis by the way”

“I’m Shannon”

‘Shannon, beautiful name just like her’,

“That’s a lovely name” I smiled as she smiled back. “See you tomorrow Shannon” I called as she walked into her house and shut the door behind her.

“Hey Faggot, long time no see!” I heard a deep voice say.

'shit!’
