Lewis POV:
"What the fuck do you think you are fucking doing?!?" I screamed angrily.
"Helping you make the right decision" she replied before leaning in for another kiss.
Before I recognised my unconscious actions, I felt my right hand smack into her left side of the jaw hearing a loud crack. Jumping off the sofa, I backed away slowly, realising what I had just done.
Doubling over in pain, she left out a sharp scream that made my ears ring. Immediately, I slightly felt bad about what I did; in fact, I began to feel really bad - sometimes my emotions overwhelm me. Normally, i would only threaten someone or contemplate physical abuse, not actually do it! I'm not that type of person.
I dialled an ambulance for Lizzy. That way, she might not turn me in to the police. I need to be there for Shannon.i can't be taken away. Before the emergency vehicle arrived, I scarpered away - leaving the crime scene.
I need to find Shannon. I need to make sure my girl is okay. I need to be there for her like she was there for me.
I'm petrified for her life.
Running as fast as my legs carried me, I ran out of the new apartment blocks to the hotel. Before I go hunting the streets, I wanted to check our place first. Just incase she happened to go there.
Eventually, what seemed hours of running, I arrived. She was not there.
Shit.
I knew she liked walking in the park near the other side of town. I will check there. I was trying to think of the places she likes. The places she knows.
Parks usually frightened us at night - me especially (Shannon always joked about the hobos chasing me) - but tonight it didn't phase me. My mind was racing as fast as the speed of light while a small bead of sweat trickled down my forehead.
Where is she? Is she okay? Has she done anything stupid? What does she think of me? Is she scared? Alone?
The thought of Shannon being alone, hurt and scared was almost too much for me to handle, especially at this time of night. I wanted to give up. But I kept going.
For her.
