Shannon POV:

The sun shone brightly through the small crack in the plain blinds which woke me up. Rolling over, I stretched my body a little trying not to wake the sleeping beauty next to me. Lewis laid there snuggled up into his own body; his mouth gaped open slightly, letting out a quiet snore.

Laying there in silence, my mind wandered like a hopelessly lost person in a labyrinth. We've been here a little over three months and it has been perfect.

We are still living in the same hotel as before which is really good. I feel like Kevin McClaster from Home Alone; living in a hotel with no adults looking after us, doing as we please.

Lewis has got a part-time job in HMV, which he loves as it is mainly full of our favourite bands, on top of that, I visit him every lunchtime. That is very fun; often we mooch into town where we grab something to eat. Usually, we will end up at McDonalds. Typical teenagers always eating junk food!

Lewis has some cool colleagues too! Lizzy, in particular, is awesome! She likes all the same bands as us as well as only being a year or two older than us. On Fridays, we normally end up at her apartment where we have a few drinks and chill. Lizzy is one of our best friends. Her girlfriend runs the local tattoo and piercing shop and she is going to try and hook us up with some art and piercings one time. I'm a little nervous to be honest as i'm not good with needles. Lewis will look after me... He better or God help him!

Suddenly, Lewis's alarm on his phone burst into action, declaring it was 8.15am and time for him to get up. It's strange, usually I wake up a few minutes before the bell sounds, but today, it felt like hours.

Sometimes silence drags time out.

Our usual morning routine was carried out as normal; I quickly jump into the shower as Lewis wakes up; he then showers as I dry and straighten my hair; we both get ready and walk into town; he goes to work; i go to the shops to get essentials then I do whatever I want until lunchtime where we meet up and Lewis and I eat together; then we separate and I go home until he does.

Normally, I just look for jobs, tidy our room etc. there's nothing much to do. At least we are managing, being safe and sound away from the torture.

We don't even miss our old home. Not one bit...
