Shannon POV:
Pulling up in the limousine, we arrived outside The Shard which was London's most recent creation. Before I had the chance to, the driver opened the vehicle door, helping me out and walked me to the pavement where Lewis was waiting with a huge grin on his face.
"Okay?" He asked, interwinding his long fingers in mine, squeezing my hand slightly.
"Yeah" I smiled, trying not get lost his his big chocolate eyes.
"Alright, lets go".
Steeping into The Shard, I felt rather out of place because we were dressed rather smartly and we were completely surrounded by sweaty, mostly foreign tourists. Pushing past them all, we took a ride in the elevator to get to the restaurant near the top of the building. The lift has a groovy ceiling video animation that plays as you whizz up the skyscraper.
"You're not scared of heights are you?" Lewis questioned.
"Nope" I popped the p. "You?"
"A little"'he shrugged, attempting to still appear strong and manly even though he really wasn't - sometimes he did the stereotypically gayest things.
It was freaking adorable.
The elevator doors opened, exposing a beautiful, candle-lit restaurant. The delicate fragrance of vanilla from the scented candles filled the room - they were not over powering like most were - the smell made the place seem warm and homey. On top of that, there was a small orchestra, maybe 5 or 6 members, dressed in tuxes playing violins and cellos. The music was soft and relaxing. The sight was so magnificently perfect, I silent tear rolled down my pink cheek. Quickly, I brushed it away, I didn't want to spoil the precious moment.
The square tables were covered in cream and red, silky-smooth tablecloths with red rose petals thrown peacefully on top. The aroma emphasised the romantic atmosphere. Looking out the surrounding windows -a 360 view - the blue sky was filled with a million shining stars, lighting up the world below.
"Seen the sky?" Lewis spoke softly, stroking my hand that was placed on the table with his thumb.
"Yeah. It's beautiful" I gazed back, admiring the brilliant view.
"Just like you darlin'" Lewis smiled, showing his white teeth. I blushed. "You look perfect babe."
"You look better Lew" I chuckled, "I should have put something better on" I said looking around the room. The ladies where all fashioned in floor dresses which must cost £500 plus matching coloured heels.
"No Shan, you are dressed perfectly. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you regardless, doesn't matter what you look like" he reassured.

"Thank you" voiced Lewis to the waiter as he carried our empty plates away.
"That was gorgeous" I announced with Lew agreeing with me.
The pair of us had a perfectly-cooked steak with two sides of your own choice accompanied by a bottle of red wine. It was the type of meal that would fill you but wouldn't make you feel bloated or too full. Just right.
"Hey, wanna dance?" Lewis asked, already standing up so I couldn't say no.
"I'm not much of a dancer" I warned him.
"I feel like dancin' tonight." He started throwing random moves you would see a drunk person do in a nightclub while singing All Time Low. I exploded with laughter, gaining some looks of disgust and anguish from others in the room. They were only jealous that he was my boyfriend and not theirs.
