Shannon POV:
“I- I don’t think I can take much more of this, living with Dickert, I mean.” Whispered Lewis; it was the early hours of the morning, as we lay in our shared bed together, conversing about anything and everything as always in the heart of the night.
“I’m surprised we have actually lasted this long with him. Mum has changed so much, she’s become a bit of a bitch now”.
“You shouldn’t say that about your mum, Shan”.
“True though” I shrugged.
“Not denying it” He giggled, tangling his long, bony fingers through my soft, black hair while I was holding his tiny waist. His ‘spot’. We shuffled closer to each other, nose to nose, arms interlocked, gazing into the other one’s eyes. His were like vast, magnificent pools of water, only a few strands of brown hair covered them.
“I really do love you, Shannon” He softly spoke smiling, making me blush faintly. “I’m just sick of hiding my love for you,” he continued, “I just want to go somewhere… somewhere that people don’t tell us what to do; somewhere we can be ourselves; somewhere we will be free”.
“That sounds awesome, but where is that ‘somewhere’? How would we get away without them noticing? Robert would kill us if he found out!”
“I dunno, that’s the thing-“
“Runaway or just leave for a while?” I suggested, feeling mischievous.
“Yes, that’s it. Lets do that. Oh you’re so smart, you know”.
“No I’m not” I blushed again, face as red as a tomato.
“Sshhh” he leant in closer, our hips gently touching as lips met for the first time; they were as soft as a pillow. Using my mouth to kiss his lower lip, I gently bit it. Hearts pounding, eyes were closed, lost in the embrace. The passionate kiss flowed like a running tap. Eventually puling away, we admired each other’s faces for a reaction. Grinning, we kissed each other again before falling asleep in one another’s arms, counting his heartbeats before I sleep. This is perfect…
