I was sitting by my window, wondering about the turn of events. Shyera, my best friend was suddenly like.....I can't tell. She started keeping secrets from me. The girl who would tell me about everything even before I noticed her expressions. She had always been the quickest when it came to taking action. She never showed a hint of weakness. But this was...really weird. I didn't know why, what, when and how all of this came into my life. Rather, our lives.

Anyway, I needed to go catch some sleep. A school reunion had been planned the next day. And it was gonna be FUN!!!! So, forget about all worries and ENJOY.

I woke up at around seven. Oh freak! How can I always be the late one? We had to meet at our school before nine and then leave. I told mom to pack my breakfast since the dressing up for the reunion was a big fuss for me. Once ready, I called Shyera to pick me up and we left for the school.

It felt really good to meet school friends after such a long time. All of us-Shyera Peck, me, Tanyra Garolls, Irwin Potter, Garry Carter, Amyra Gordon and Ashton van Woodsen- were overjoyed to be reunited. Our smallest and the most negligible memories returned as we climbed the bus and retained our favorite spot- the last seat. We couldn't stop talking to each other till we reached our destination. We did not know who, exactly had planned this reunion. We just had been told about it.

But who cares? Just enjoy! Irwin, Shyera, Tanyra, me and Garry-the five of us were in the same college, but both the boys were in a stream different from us. So, we could hardly meet. Ashton and Amyra were in different colleges, but were in touch with most of us.

The place of our reunion was quite a shock for us. It was a big hall looking much too expensive. As we went in, we were fascinated by its beauty. A tall, decorated stage on which stood our hosts wearing masks. Numerous tables surrounded by many chairs. Bouquets for each one of us. Each table with names written on them. The whole place looked stunning.

We went to our tables and found that we were seperated into two groups. Me, Shyera, Irwin amd Garry on one and Ashton, Amyra and Tanyra on the other. I was dressed in a light green top and a blue jeans and a whole lot of make up. Shyera looked stunning in her purple top and black jeans and just a finishing touch to her original beauty. Tanyra wore a peacock blue top paired with a knee length skirt. Amyra wore a baby pink frock. All the boys were dressed in suits.

Wait a minute. One part of my dream last night has Shyera falling from the tall stage, due to a push from Amyra. But... Esther was here that time. I look around to find Esther standing at the doorway. Okay. She wasn't a part of our school. What the hell was she doing ? I was clueless about what was happening all around me. I could talk to Shyera about it but not in front of Irwin and Garry.

Groups were being caled on the stage for some silly game. I used the opportunity and called Shyera aside.

"Shyera!" I whispered, and motioned her to come a bit away from all tables so that I could ask her about Esther. But as soon as I did that, Our whole group was called on the stage. Wait......this stage looked familiar. The hosts seemed familiar. I knew right then where I had seen the same situation. In.my.dream. We went on the stage, the seven of us together. I brushed away my thoughts. I trie to be around Shyera, but unaware of everything, Tanyra catched that position.  I was standing between Ashton and Amyra. Moreover, Tanyra didn't know a single thing about it, and I had no access to let her know. Telling the devil Amyra herself, came in the way.

My mind brings me back to my previous thoughts. All of a sudden I remembered who the hosts are. The game up on the stage was to guess their names. Whichever group won got to rule the party. Since I knew, I told those names to Amyra and she told them to Irwin, who helped in circulating the names.

Once we got our turn, we said in unison,

" The hosts are: Amina Becker and Meander Vales."

If that guess proved right, my dreams prove right, and...

The hosts were astonished as we proved to be right. Once all of that drama is over, we headed down the stage towards our table. I tried to be the 'normal' me, and not the 'knows future' me.

If Shyera fell from the stage, there were real rocks placed for effect, down, right in front of it. And the stage was tall. Enough for her to be hurt.

And it really happened.

Shyera fell from the stage and inspite of all our efforts to stop it, she fell down, her head red with blood. My vision began searching for Amyra, but I didn't find her next to me. I found her on the top of the stage, SMILING. Amyra smiling. Obviously it made sense! Then, at the next moment, her face turned shocked as if she did nothing. Huh!? Split personality? Or acting? The latter one, obviously.

As I ran towards Shyera, I caught a glimpse of the expressions of all others. I saw Garry smiling wickedly. No. Just tell me what I saw wasn't real. Two of our group are up to something wicked. I must protect Shyera. I mean, my dream had warned me about Amyra, but Garry?

We rushed her to the medical room.. Nothing serious had happened to her. In fact, the emergency nurses present there had dressed her wound, and told us she could enjoy the party after a fifteen minute rest. We decided not to leave her alone. Irwin and Tanyra offered to look after her, so I told them everything when only the three of us were present with an asleep Shyera. I didn't know how much of it she might have grasped.

They forced me to go keep a watch on Amyra and Garry. Only because they hadn't even come to the medical room. I was really worried about Shyera. First the return of Esther. Then crying over something and hiding it from your best friend. What more? Her life is taking a turn for the worse. But why? Wait. I badly forgot about Esther. But I guess by now she must have disappeared into thin air, for even she didn't come to the medical room. WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON? We had come here to have fun, not injuries. Somehow I did play a role in this. Somehow I needed to do something. But what?

Could dreams mess up anybody's life? Yes. Because they have. Mine.
