I thought her house would be the same tangled wires and loud music and those eminem posters. But it had changed quite a bit.
She had still kept those eminem posters and frames of greek scriptures, but the whole outlook of the house changed. The original navy blue wallpapers had changed to purple, furry ones. The black curtains had changed to a combo of white and lavender ones. The spooky green lights were now replaced by skull shaped lamps. Her house was looking much more...much, much more organized.
"Heyo!" Silvee stood there, completely changed. Her straight hair had been curled temporarily. I don't want to describe her, I was myself disturbed seeing her this abnormal. Anyway the moment was too serious.
"So. Why so all of a sudden are you guys here when you should be attending your lectures? And this girl with you..is she Esther? How can I forget these eyes?"
Silvee remembered her. Whoah! What a memory! And please...those eyes were not like one can't forget.
"Yeah. I am."
"I repeat my question. Why have you guys come here?"
"Shyera. And Irwin. We want you to trace their location."
"Are you no longer friends? And who's Irwin...?"
"Irwin is our friend from school. And no. Shyera is still my bestest friend. Just that....we are not able to find her. She...leave it. Please do it for me."
"Yeah, well. Okay just give me two minutes and their numbers."
I pickef a notepad and scribbled their numbers on it. Silvee came and glared at the screen as it showed their locations. She got up, grabbed her purse, tried to smoothen her messy hair, and grabbed the house keys. At the next instant, Esther picked her car keys from the table, and headed towards the door. Me and Tanyra were left clueless as to what was happening.
"What!? We've always been this coordinated! Now come quick! Its a matter more serious than what we had thought."
Esther and Silvee were seated in the front while me and Tany at the back. We could see from their faces that conditions were worse than we had ever imagined.
"Av and Tany. Listen. We are gonna go to a guy called Kelvin Conner. He's gonna help us search them. See. Their phones were found in an area out of the city, where there is a market and a village with acres of farmland. Usually no one from the city goes there, because it is too far to go. We will reach there till afternoon.
Kelvin belongs to that place and has too many contacts there. He also knows Shyera well. He's my friend, and also his mom is a friend of Shyera's mom."
Market. Outskirts. I needed to wait till I see that place. If it turned out to be the place in my dream, then we were in big trouble. We couldn't afford to go back. Good we went home to get some extra clothes before going to Silvee's place. She played too many pranks which was the reason for this precaution. Good. Now we didn't need to go back home today.
Kelvin was a really good guy. He maintained his distance, was really concerned when it came to a disappeared person, and was really willing to help us. Silvee and Kelvin seemed to be best friends. Suddenly, Ashton appeared at the door.
"Hey Kelvin!"
"Yo Ash!"
"How the hell do you guys know each other?"
"Um...long story."
"Don't tell that story to me. I'm least interested."
"Your choice."
"Anyway, do you know the details?"
"Yeah, I do know."
"Good. We are leaving in ten minutes."
We were literally stuffed in Esther's car. Esther and Kel at the front, and me, Silvee, Tanyra and Ashton at the back. Ash had suggested he would drive, but Esther refused. Obviously she couldn't let her car be driven by a person she didn't know that well, even if he was her sister's friend. Me and Silvee were fighting over a chocolate, because it was the last one of the pack. Ashton and Tanyra, the devils had eaten all of them while we were sleeping. Kel and Esther didn't like chocolates.
It was about four when we reached the market area. Good thing Silvee brought her tablet along, she could track Shyera and Irwin. She did so and what did we find!? They were just a few metres from us towards the village side. Esther moved the car towards the village. A few seconds later we reached too close to their location. I pulled my phone out and called Shyera. She came out of one of the houses, her ringing phone in her hand.
"Welcome, children!"
It was Irwin's grandma welcoming us. She liked both Tanyra and Shyera a lot. A lot more than her own grandchild.
We sat and put our bags down. Oh god! They had such a huge house in the village! Two of us each were gonna share one room each while one was gonna get a single room. The one left would share the room with granny herself. Once granny was gone to the kitchen, we discussed on the serious part.
Shyera: Before you guys ask us any questions, I will answer your doubts. Last night after we dropped Avora at her house, Irw told me that he knows a place better than the one we have decided for our plan. So, early in the morning, he came to pick me up and we got here. I really like this place and I think we should carry out our plan here.
Tanyra: Yeah....me too. But next time, Shyera, please tell at least one of us before you do anything.
Me: We will have to call Amyra and Garry here. But yeah we can't tell them to come all by themselves....
Irwin: Chillax Av! I called Garry here for our project and Shye has called Evina and Amy to come together. So, everything is done.
Ashton: So you expected us to come here, didn't you?
Irwin: Right, bro.
Silvee: Hey guys! What the hell are you talking about? Me and Kel are clueless!
As we were talking, a completely unknown boy entered the house. At least I didn't know him. A tall, red haired boy who weared blue specs, and was dressed in a white t-shirt and blue jeans. And Irwin knew him.
"Hey Alvin!"
"Hye Irwin! Um.....who are these guys?"
"This is Avora, Tanyra, Silvee, Kelvin, Ashton. You already know Shye."
"Hey guys. I'm Alvin.Nice to meet you."
"Hey!" we all said.
New place. New friends. So far, we had included Kel, Silvee and Alvin in our plan. But they were on the part with Evina and Garry. I know it is quite unfaithful since were including non-friends in our plan against our friends. We all would handle Amyra. Maybe getting acquainted with new people will keep both of them busy. Maybe they'll smell our plan even before reaching here. Maybe we should have done all this in the city itself. Maybe all of these were just...silly doubts. Maybe true. Maybe not.
We decided our rooms. The question was just about one night. Alvin had also joined. So....the single person will now get a partner to share the room with. I shared my room with Shyera, obviously. Tanyra was with Silvee. Irwin had to go with his grandma while Ashton and Alvin shared a room. For the first time since ages, we all spent a night without any dreams.
The new day dawned with the entry of Amyra and Garry into our lives, once again. And Evina was not there. And Silvee, Alvin and Kelvin had left already. And granny was out for a trip round the farms to search for exclusive veggies. And the seven of us were left together. Just the situation I had never imagined of.
