~~~Drake's POV~~~
The One was  making these guys suffer, just so that I would come to his side again. If I go back, that would be only to kill him.
If anything happens to Irwin, I won't be able to forgive myself. I can't see Tanyra lose another friend. Ash had died already. Shyera and Irwin had died once to save Avora. Avora was near to death. She had also witnessed my friends' deaths. This was all happening because I had switched to the right side. If Irwin dies, The One, you're a dead man.
I was punching the wall hard by now, ignoring the pain it was causing to my hand. I felt something tug on the lower end of my shirt. I looked down to see two small green pools staring at me. I couldn't help but smile at her and bent down to pinch her cheek.
"Whoever you are, I don't know, but punching innocent walls won't help."
I smiled again, but kept silent.
"Mommy tells me to take everything in a positive way."
I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. She frowned.
"And what does your mommy say if you feel guilty about something?"
"She says it encourages you." She frowned again," but I don't know what 'encourages' means."
I laugh at that one. And smile even after my laughter is over. Because that sentence meant a lot to me. It has already told me to stay where I am, doing the best to kill The One before he does.
The doctor came out, and told the girls something. That literally lighted them up, and that meant its good.
I immediately ran to where my friends were, and asked Tanyra about it.
"He's fine now. Just needs some rest.", Tanyra told me, relief in her voice.
I nodded, hugged her, and turned around. I don't know if it was real or my imagination, but she was startled and seemed to blush. I walked out of the hospital. I kept walking. I didn't realise when I had already come too far away.
I looked around, and found a familiar person appear from behind the tree. Amyra? She was looking down at a book....probably the book of spells. She didn't seem to notice me, so I quickly hid behind the nearest object. Dammit! Why did it have to be thorny bush? Out of all possible objects here? The minute I gave a thought to find some other hiding place, Amyra looked up and stared straight ahead while walking. Amyra passed the place where I was hiding. But she didn't notice a paper fall out from the book.
She went a bit more ahead, and turned round the corner, into the street where Raven's house was.
Wait.
Raven's house?
Out of all places in the town, my subconscious mind had chosen Raven's house?
I seemed to use that phrase a lot.
But the point is, Amyra was going to meet Raven, with a book of spells. Maybe if I could pop in....
All of my thinking was interrupted by a very cold hand on my shoulder. I jumped up, surprisingly not getting hurt by the bush( when I realised I had automatically come out of it, maybe to get a better view of where Amyra was going) and turned around.
Tanyra.
Looking pale and ill kind of.
"Drake? What are you doing here?"
"Me? What are you doing here?"
"Oh please. I asked first."
"So you get to answer first as well." I smirked.
