~~~Drake's POV~~~
Where was I? What had happened to me? Yeah. Now I remember. Wait...Why did my head have to pain so much? Aah!
I was unable to move even my hands. My eyes felt so heavy I could not open them. Seriously, had someone placed a building on top of them?
I tried to move, but in vain. Suddenly, I felt a hand around mine. I tried to hear. A lot. But I couldn't hear a thing.
It took a lot of time for me to reagain some of my senses. I could finally hear the sobs around me, and I did recognize the voice. It was familiar. But who was it?
Tanyra. Yupp. It must be Tanyra. I tried to move my hand, and it moved, a bit. Whoever it was, sensed the movement and began rubbing my hand.
Soon after, I was sitting up, surprisingly on a bed and not in the forest, trying to soothe Tanyra. She was crying, thinking she's the one responsible for whatever has been happening to her friends. First those three. Then me. She was crying her eyes out literally over nothing, according to me. But yeah...I might have felt the same.
Once she was alright, I asked her about what had happened.
"I was actually heading towards the lake, in the morning, when I felt as if something was around me-"
So, I did sleep in the forest after all.
"-I searched the area, and found you. Lying on the floor, face pale, and a little blood on your head. I was so scared that at first, I lost my voice. When I finally found it, I screamed at the top of my lungs for help. My feet had already fallen by your side, and I was crying already. But I noticed it when one of my teardrops fell on your face. Ashton and Silvee came running there, leaving Kelvin at the house to take care of Grandma and Av. We brought you home. You know the rest. Because you woke up just an hour after we brought you here."
"And you were sobbing that whole hour, weren't you?"
She remained silent.
"It's not your fault, and it can never be."
"Drake?"
"Yeah?"
"What were you doing in the forest?"
"I was there to take a walk. I wasn't able to fall asleep. You know, my house is near."
I lied straight through my teeth, as I always did, just this time, it felt really very bad, and I felt something wrong about it for the first time. She believed my lie, and it hurt somewhere.
After a long silence, I tried to stand up, but fell on the bed, my head spinning. Tanyra rushed out for some ice packs.
~~~Tanyra's POV~~~
I had only one mission in mind. To save Ash and Drake from everything. They were my only friends left. I can't bear to lose them.
~~~Garry's POV~~~
"Esther NO!"
That was all I could hear from the room adjoining mine. I tried to push the door open, but it won't. When the door finally opened, I found only Raven in there. Where was Esther?
"Uh...What are you doing here, err-Garry?"
"Raven. I heard someone calling out'Esther No!'."
"You heard it wrong, dude."
"Fine."
I stormed out of the room, because I had expected Esther in there. And what was more? The One had given me one task, in the hundred years that I have lived, ONE TASK. But, that was to find Esther. Sure. As if finding her was an easy task to begin with. She was a person you could never figure out. When I had finally found her-after spending years with her sister and friends, she had finally appeared, I had still lost the chance, because I never got to speak to her. She had just sensed the move and well.. disappeared again.
