"Tanyra! where the hell are you!?"
"Avora! Here! Come here quick!"
" I can't! My feet are freezed to my spot! Hey wait! I'm going down! SAVE MEEE!!!"
"SHYERA!! IRWIN!! ASHTON!!"
"What happened Tanyra?"
"AV, they are all getting carried away! None of them is conscious! Wake up Shyera! Wake up! Waaaaaaaaaa!"
"Tanyra?"
"Tanyra!!"
"Tanyra?"
Silence.
I woke up to find my mom beside me trying to console me. Make me sleep peacefully. Yeah....that did give comfort to me. Sleep carried me once again, and I landed once again in the world of dreams.
"Tanyra! Shyera! Ashton! Irwin! Get up all of you! We need to get out of here! WAKE UP!"
Why were all of them asleep? Why couldn't they listen to me? I wanted to get out of there. But I wouldn't leave without my friends. I was gonna look after Amyra and Garry too well. Why were they causing us harm? Weren't they our friends in school?
I felt someone pat on my shoulder. I looked back to find a smiling Amyra.
I tried to hide my anger, but it slipped onto my face, causing Amyra to smile further. I wanted it to be just a nightmare, but I knew it wasn't.
"Why! Why? Why did I let you do whatever you did even though I knew those weren't only dreams? Why did I not believe my instincts and not try to force you out? Why did I let this happen with my dearest friends? Oh why!!"
I am seething with anger as I said this, and I laughed at her face, trying to make her sense we have a back up plan. As far as I have known her, she would get threatened and..........
"WAKE UP AVORA!! In which world of dreams are you lost!? For god's sake wake up! We are getting late for college!" I heard Shyera screaming on me. We reached college just in time for the second lecture, thanks to my dreams. We had already missed the first lecture.
I had messaged Irwin, Ashton and Tanyra to come in the cafeteria after college. The problem would arise if Garry smelled this. Irwin had to take care of that.
"That is the last lecture for today. Huh! Lectures are so boring!"
"Yeah I know...."
"Avora, I wonder what Amyra is up to."
"Shyera? What happened?"
"That day when I fell down, I knew I had been pushed. Before losing consciousness, I had seen her face and I immediately knew it was her, for she was smiling at me, revenge in her eyes."
"Shyera."
"Yeah?"
"Do you know who else is in that with Amyra?"
"No. Do you?"
"Yup. Its Garry."
Shyera was horror struck after hearing that.
"W-What? Two of our childhood friends can not only just break our friendship like that but also plot something against us? I...I'm really saddened by this fact. Saddened? No. Disgusted! Avora, maybe you were right when you started doubting Amyra in the fourth grade itself. Maybe I should have supported you...."
"Shyera, but what about your sister? I haven't seen her here since our reunion." I obviously tried to change the topic.
"Uh-um.....Hey we forgot about the chemistry project completely!"
I didn't know why she was actiing like that at the name of Esther, but I didn't want to make her further uncomfortable. At least till she got completely fine.
We attended the last lecture,(the most boring ever, believe me) and then left for the cafeteria. Finding Ashton, Irwin and Tanyra already there, we went to the table and sat ourselves down.
