~~~Raven's POV~~~
Was it a dream or had the 'scenes' really shifted like it's a play?
We were at that highway just a second ago, and all of a sudden, what we saw was this place, that was on fire, looking like some house, in the village we had planted the entrance of Amyra's trap in, when we were on her side. Now we had begun to dread that, though.
The house was named 'Pottersville' on the outside. Why were we here? And wait. Drake? Tanyra? Where did they disappear?
"Guys where's Drake and Tany?"
Merope voiced my thoughts in her soft, angelic voice. That girl could read my mind, huh?
Esther and that guy called Sayon were already looking around, probably searching for them, too.
Fury, sorrow, a bit of anger, every expression possible could be seen in her eyes. But my gaze shifted to Sayon.
His bluish-grey eyes were nowhere compared to Drake's, but looked good with his black hair. He could look like a complete villain at times, and a complete hero on the other. Amd currently, he was on the heroic part, for he knew how to handle Esther. He was just holding her hand, squeezing it from time to time. Maybe a bit worried about her reaction. Lovestruck nancy-boy!
I looked again at Esther, who had grown a bit more restless. She resembled Shyera way too much. A blonde haired version of Shyera. But still a bit different.
"But first, Esther, you have a lot of explaining to do. You know why."
Of course! She knew this guy, she was involved in the plan right from the beginning, and we were just fugging outsiders!
Esther looked towards me, an expression of defeat in her eyes.
But then I felt a little sympathy towards her. I felt like I should be taking care of her feelings, too. Merope had asked me to do that, when she told me about the whole story. Maybe I should go a bit less harsh on her. It was her sister she had lost all of a sudden, and not willingly, you know? That must be visible in my eyes, since she began, her voice sounding a little less pressurized.
"All my life, as a Dravengo, I had taken care that none of this harm reaches Shyera. I could do at least that much for what we hadn't screwed up. I would look at her grow up along with me through invisibility. I had to protect her, at least she should have been able to live without these complications. But no. She had to get herself into this. Be friends with Avora, believe her, and be her best friend! Amyra targeted her, obviously. But when Drake sided with you guys, she got rid of Avora first, and then Shyera. My task was to protect Shyera forever, not Avora. Heck! She was actually one of the roots of it! Of OUR misery! She had done it! Not on purpose, though.  And I failed in my task."
Yes. I should be a little more brother-like.
"And who, exactly is this?" I pointed towards Sayon, just a little softly than I had first intended to.
I remembered his face, too clearly, because he had ruined all my childhood in the Dravengo state. Even Drake's. I had been a friend of Esther, at first, but then he humiliated me in front of my classmates, and I hated him. I had never known his name, never tried to know him or what he wanted from me, but his actions made Esther reject my friendship, and made me resort to the girl with whom I had entered the Dravengo world-Amyra. In a way, he was responsible for some of it.
"I know, Raven. You hate him. He did things to you that couldn't be considered nice. But he didn't do that on purpose. In school, he had wanted to prank me all the time, not you. But when every time, it went on you by chance, he was just plain infuriated, and he began doing it on purpose. That's when sometimes they started catching me, and then he confessed everything to me."
