~~~Scarlett's POV~~~
A while later, I found myself lying near someone. My eyes felt too heavy. I was clueless about everything around me. Second by second, reality dawned upon me. I started moving.
Minutes later, I found myself pushing Spencer constantly, trying to bring him back to consciousness. Soon, Spencer was moving his hand, mumbling something. I leaned in closer, nearly lost my balance, and ended up next to him instead of on top of him.
Then I could hear his words clearly. "I need you to know just one thing, Scar.....if you want to hate me, you can....I...l."
Then he rose and sat straight as if he was saying something wrong.
"Continue."
Was all my mind forced me to say.
For a second, Spencer looked at me, wide eyed, and then they showed an emotion, I had never seen before.
"Scar, I lo-"
"Both of you! I finally found you!"
We were interrupted by someone, and it really disgusted me for some reason.
We turned around.
Some creepy person. Wearing a creepy costume. A hooded coat, too long for anyone's liking. Dark inside that hood. A scythe in hand. A typical villain seeming guy.
"W-Who are you?"
That 'Mr. Villain', or 'Mr. V' as we could call him, laughed.
Loudly.
We shut our ears, still we could hear him laughing. And that was echoing through our ears.
Much to our relief, Mr.V finally stopped laughing.
"So. Spencer, annd Scarlett. Let me introduce myself. I'm The One."
After a long pause, he began his probably well rehearsed speech.
"I control all of this. And I'm letting you see me before transforming only because...you are here to die. Let me tell you one more thing. Uki amd Tanyra. Both of them were not affected by my things. Only due to one reason. The spell can work only on two of one type. Like two boys, etc. They have each others' links. If one dies, the other can save him and vice-a-versa. And they transform themselves into Dravengos, upon my wish. And if I kill anyone, ha. ha. ha. Well, both are dead. Yes. That means, if I kill you, Scarlet, Cindy is dead as well. But. If I kill you, Spencer, Drake can't die. There's a rule that I had created that protects him. Besides, he's there to help my daughter due to my mistake. Or else I would have been bound to keep you alive. Ha! I'm glad I'm able to kill you."
Spencer and me looked at each other. I motioned him. I kept on keeping that Mr.V busy, while Spencer contacted Drake through the spell he had taught us today.
"What?"
"Yes. Prepare, To Die."
"But where are Uki and Tanyra?"
"So you want to know about them even before you die? Fine. I will tell you. Uki and Tanyra will return as soon as you are dead. They are caught between two lands, right now. I was not able to cast that spell on both of them, only because Drake had told me not to touch Uki. That crazy man thinks of his best friend even after his own death! I had decided to just cast it on Tanyra with some random person, even Evina. But Drake told me to stop. I don't even know why. I guess he's one helluva crazy person. Nevertheless...."
"Who are Tanyra's friends that you affected?"
"Huh? Fine. Curious soul, Tanyra has four friends. Irwin and Ashton. Avora and Shyera. She had Garry and Amyra as well. But Amyra and Esther, Shyera's twin, were paired together. As for Garry, well, you see, I had paired him with Raven. And that was the only time when actually four persons entered our world. Not one. The only thing being that they know only two persons entering. All of my deeds.."
"One last question."
"Ask it, curious soul."
"Who were you paired with."
"I'm answering you, and the next moment, you are dead. "
"Fine with us."
As I said it, my eyes did not move from Mr.V, but my hand reached for Spencer's. We held hands, tightly, and pulled each other a bit. We waited for Mr.V's answer, and it came soon.
"Avora's dad."
Before, he could do anything to us, a figure emerged from behind him, and he swnsed it. He, in fact, recognised that person.
"You are welcome, Esther."
"The One. I'm sorry, but please don't do this. I can't let you do it."
"Esther, Leave before I make you."
"But-"
"You are like a daughter to me, and I don't want to hurt either of you or Shyera. Please leave."
"Listen to me. You have been doing this reasonably, and you don't have any reason for-"
"I don't care! LEAVE!"
To our surprise that 'Esther' was casting a spell from behind him that would probably protect us. All of a sudden, we felt a thick crystal wall around the both of us. And, Mr.V was glaring at it. Esther had disappeared.
~~~Cindy's POV~~~
"Drake? What is happening to you?"
Drake did not budge. I tried to move his hand, but it did not affect him at all.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes, and moved away from me. I could see the tears in his eyes. He mouthed a bye to me, and a tear escaped his eye. I could not understand a bit of it, but I could see a crystal wall in front of me.
What the hell was that?
The next thing I knew, I was lying on the ground, and I could see a scary person.
~~~Scarlett's POV~~~
We were lying next to each other, facing each other, still holding hands. Pain was shooting all through us, but we could not move. We just conveyed all our emotions through our eyes to each other. The crystal wall was long lost. Our hand were loosening, but we put all our force and intertwined them, clutching tightly on them. Our fingers were digging each other's skins, but that was all we needed to know.
Too soon, darkness surrounded our eyes.

Another short chapter, but yeah! Two in a day! Guess that's my gift to you on new year's eve! Happy new year guys! I warn you, the chapter is NOT edited.
I guess that answers many of your previous questions. I'm sorry I kept three of his friends just for two chapters, but that is fine, I guess! Well, more of Avora and Drake and Tanyra and last but not the least...Shyera and Irwin as well, in the next chapter. But you guys will have to wait for maybe a week until my next update. :'( I'm sorry for that, but our exams are just two days ahead! Basically I'm spending my studying time on wattpad, but me being a wattpad addict explains it! ;) I promise guys! The next chapter will be long!
