I loved the girl that was standing next to me, and I need to protect her from this. From death. She was my Tancess (I decided on that pet name, don't know how it occurred to me in such a situation) and she had every right to live, until I wanted her to live. And that would be forever.
But there was a big problem. There was no escape for both of us. Because even I was a human now, and only two Dravengos, let me be more clear, both should be Dravengos only, and both of us weren't.
But when there was no escape, meant we were going to die, we at least had one option. We could save our friends.
Wait. A person who was in my state, could use one last spell, out of all the spells that were only available to 'once' Dravengos.
And I could save Esther, Raven, Merope and Uki. But Sayon would have to get with Esther for that. At that moment, I had no feeling for Sayon, even though whatever he had done to me before was worth holding a grudge against him.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't catch what had happened before me. Sayon had a blooded dagger in his hand, but not a normal one. It belonged to The One. Death certain!
On the floor, in front of him, lay Amyra, her face pale. Her body had gone white, and she was....laughing?
I caught my signal, and began my spell.
"You...may kill...me but...you...won't remain...alive...yourselves.
These five....they-they'll...kill you...right here...And there's no....way to escape...now. At least..for..the..humans."
We had to face the truth. There was no turning back now. There was no way to live and spend my time with my love. Because me and my Tancess were gonna die. In any way. As much as I wanted her to live, my selfishness was getting the better of me, and I wanted to be where she would be. Let it be life or death.
If we could do anything, that was making Esther and Raven safe. Along with Merope and Sayon. And Uki as well. If not me, at least Uki would get to live. Maybe move on.
I looked at Tan one last time, and saw her doing the same. We communicated through our eyes once again, and she broke away to signal Sayon to stand next to Esther.
I knew everything Amyra had planned. She had initially planned to kill Avora in this way, but now it was us. Because she already killed Avora this way.
These five people were normal humans, whom we had known for too. long, or at least seen them in pictures. And here they were. Evina, Amina Becker, Meander Vales, Avon, and Little Amy. The. only good part was that Little Amy couldn't be hypnotized for a long time. She would die soon after she gets hypnotised. So we won't have to face that much hurt. Even Avon was a weak factor..O shit. No. That kind of hypnosis could convert the weakest factors into the strongest ones. We were in ducking danger.
The air around me had become blue, which meant I just had to say that one word, and all the Dravengos around me would pause for one whole minute. Half minute could be used to complete our task there. Half could be used to run.
"Craster." Me and Tan said together, shocking each other. But we caught ourselves, and talked while doing our task.
"You know that spell is available only to once-Dravengos." I told her while dragging Sayon to touch the circle. He was heavy.
"But I could help you." Tan replied while she made Raven and Merope touch the circle, which she had drawn out from Merope's back pocket.
That sent sparks, and they vanished, the circle landing in Tan's safe hands.
