Ella grabbed another piece of my dress and tore it up the side. I screamed again.
"Poppy, see. You will never be anything in this world. You are worthless in the eyes of everyone." She said. She seized Mother's necklace at my throat and ripped it off and threw it to the floor. She left with Ella at her tail. I went to the floor and picked up the pieces of my mothers dress and necklace. I cried and cried. The door opened and there was Linda. She looked so sad.
"Poppy, get up. Lets' go." She said. I stood up with the pieces of mothers dress in my hands. Linda took me back to the room.
"Listen to me Poppy. You must tell me everything that happened." She said. I nodded and began.
"I walked downstai-" i was cut off.
"No my dear, you must tell me why you are here." she said. I decided to start from the beginning.
"Mom was already dying from cancer, and one day we decided to visit grandma. That's when we got in the accident. Mom died, Dad had nothing wrong with him. But i had a trauma with my brain, I can't remember anything that happened that day. I was in the hospital that evening. But Mom was already gone. I was able to recover from her death about a year later....and.....and" I snuffled and started to cry. Linda put her arm around me.
"So thats why your Mother sent me here." Linda said, hugging me tight. I looked at her, and wiped away my tears.
"You knew my mom?" I asked her. Linda smiled.
" I was her Godmother, and she entrusted me to be your Godmother as well." she said, hugging me. Linda stood up and walked over to the manacin.
" I can fix your dress easy, but i have another dress for you to wear. It's blue and would work well with your mask too." she said. I nodded my head. Linda led me into a large dressing room.
"Your dress is in there, hand me your mother's and i will fix it. I also will do my best to fix your mother's necklace." I nodded my head and entered the dress room. The dress inside was perfect.
