I just kept running, I was basically not even looking where i was going. It was snowing so hard that i couldn't even see where i was going. I looked around and couldn't see any houses. I was just on a paved sidewalk, with a few small evergreen tree's next to it. I felt my legs freezing, I guess that i could take a little rest. I sat down on the ground. I felt my eyes become heavy and my body go numb. I heard someone coming towards me, but i couldn't see them because snow was falling on my face. I closed my eyes and layed there in the snow. I lost the cold feeling in my body and just accepted my life. I felt sleep over take me. And i let it.
I felt warmth in my heart and head. I couldn't move though. I felt frozen, but i felt warm. I opened my eyes and looked around. I tried my best to sit up, but i couldn't. I tried to open my eyes, and i finally succeeded after a few tries. I was in a small room, laying on a bed by a fire. I just layed there and looked around the room. It was dark, except for the fire that was crackling next to me. The walls were scarce and the bed only had one large quilt. I tried to move my arms. I felt pain in my arms and whimpered in pain. I looked down at my arms, they were all bandaged, along with 85% of my legs. I felt pain everywhere as i started to move, slowly. I screamed as i tried to move my torso. I heard footsteps coming towards my room. It was so dark that i couldn't make out all of the person's features. I knew that it was a boy, whose probably not much older than me. He came in with a worried expression.
"Are you okay?" he asked. I felt tired and fell back asleep.
