Months went by, and i was just getting better and better everyday. I was also getting happier. Jullian still pestered me from time to time, but he eventually gave up. Alex and i have just gotten closer and closer everyday. Soon, it was summer and summer means freedom. Amanda and her daughters are back and they were just leaving me on my own, which was a blessing. Except for Elise, who seemed almost interested in me. She followed me around when i did dinner and laundry it was almost laughable, but i chose not to. The strange thing is, is that ever since summer started Lucy has been acting strange, stranger than usual anyway. It's like she is avoiding everyone, but i don't know why. It's kinda weird, but i respect her and decided to call her only once and a while, if she would take my call. I guess that she is going through something that she doesn't want me included into, but that's okay. Sometimes you have to go through things alone. I smiled down at my phone, looking at some fun things people are doing on Instagram. Some people in Europe, San Diego, and even just going to a beach. Then i scrolled past Jullian's, i had been too lazy to unfollow him, so i just kept him around. This picture (is the one for this page) was of Jullian and Monique kissing. Wonderful, i thought to myself. I sat there for a moment. Today i decided i wanted to visit Lucy, she's being a pain because she isn't answering any calls, or texts, so i am just going to show up and hope she's there. I put my bowl in the sink and ran upstairs. I grabbed some flats and slipped on a black tank top with my shorts and ran back down the stairs. Elise opened the door to her room.
"Hey, where are you going?" she asked. i looked back on her and smiled.
"To go visit my friend Lucy." i said.
"Can i come?" She asked. Surprisingly, she sounded excited. Elise and Elli are just 6 months younger than me, so they can't drive yet, she's probably desperate to go anywhere.
"Yeah, come on." i said. She squealed and ran next to me. I was happy so see that atleast one of my new sisters has taken some interest in me. We jumped in the car and drove over to Lucy's house.

When we finally got there, i parked the car and we both walked towards her house. I knocked on the door, and Lucy's stepmom opened the door. She looked exhausted. Lucy told me that she had the baby almost 4 months ago. The baby must be keeping her up all night. She smiled and opened the door.
"Hi Poppy. It's so nice to see you."
"It's very nice to see you too. This is my sister, Elise." I said, gesturing towards Elise. She waved slightly, but then we heared the sound of....um....puking? I ran up the stairs, with Elise at my heels. I turned the corner to the bathroom and there was Lucy. Puking her guts out into the toilet. I quickly ran over to her and pulled her hair back. I looked at her, and she didn't look too good. She was still in her bra and spandex's and she had bags under her eyes. She looked really sick. She looked at me and gave me a weak smile, then she stuck her head back in the toilet and continued on with her business. Elise kneeled next to the toilet, and smiled at Lucy. I stood there for a moment. I hadn't seen Elise smile that friendly before. She will usually give me a grin that says "I am smiling, but i don't like it" kinda smile, but this smile was genuine.

When Lucy finished, we all sat back on the bathroom floor. Elise wet a washcloth and gave it to Lucy, who immediately put it on her forehead. We all sat there for a moment.
"Lucy, why didn't you call me and tell me you where sick?" I asked her.
"Because i didn't want you to know!" she screamed. It was silent. Tears ran down her face like a faucet. I sat there in shock. Why wouldn't Lucy tell me? Why didn't she want me to know? I thought we were best friends. I just sat there and stared at Lucy. She looked at me, with her wide eyes that were puffy and wet. Elise just sat there at a distance, not wanting to get too envolved i suppose. We all sat there in silence, except for Lucy who made sniffling and cries every other second. I stood up, and walked to Lucy's room. Elise didn't follow, instead, she put her arm around Lucy and sat there with her. I sat on Lucy's bed, her room was trashed. Clothes were all over the room and there open boxes everywhere. There were tissues and medicine caps everywhere. Then, something caught my eye, there was a white, thin, open box only a few feet in front of me. I leaned over and picked it up. The name of whatever it was was ripped off, so i looked inside, there was something still in it. I tilted the box, and it came sliding out. It was a pregnancy test. I flipped it over. My jaw dropped, it was positive. That meant, Lucy is pregnant.
