Hello! I know it's been a while but I've been caught with stuff at home and school is on my nerves. Anyways, I'm still going to continue writing this book but it'll be very slow that's why it has the ON HOLD written with the title. Anyways, enjoy my lovely...peanuts. Yeah, that sounds good. Peanuts. Yeah.
Uh, Enjoy!

Ava's POV
It's been about a week since I went to Chris's house for dinner and we have been getting along fine. But it has been a bit more...weird since the little scene in the bathroom at his house.
I stopped by my locker, opening it and shoving my books in. I take out some books I need, putting them in my bag then shutting my locker.
As soon as I shut it, Chris's face came into view. I screamed, jumping five feet in the air.
"I didn't know I had that effect on you, sweetheart." He says, a sexy smirk growing on his face. Okay woah. Since when was his smirk sexy?
"You don't. In fact, I don't know what you're talking about." I say, crossing my arms.
He rolls his eyes. "Where's Daisy? She's usually always here."
I sigh. "She's a bit caught up."
Actually, she's at home getting ready for the trial today. She's really nervous about seeing the man who raped her and also if he'll be deemed as guilty or not. I was scared for her. I wanted only the best for Daisy and I hated seeing my best friend hurt.
"Ava! Ava! Ava!" A voice yelled excitedly behind me and I turned away from Chris just in time to see Jacob hurdling towards me.
"Woah! What's got you so hype?" I ask smiling.
He grins. "No specific reason."
I cock an eyebrow at my best friend. "Really? Does this specific reason have to with, oh I don't know, Dean?" I smirk and Chris laughs from behind me as Jacob blushes.
"Oh shut up." He mumbles before the same grin appears on his face.
"Okay seriously, what is it?" Chris asks this time.
"Dean has this lake house and he's asked me to go with him and I was wondering if you wanted to come along?" Jacob asks us.
Chris replies quickly. "Sure. We go all the time anyway. What about you sweetheart?" He turns to me smirking.
"Uh, I'll have to see with my parents first. When is it?" I tell him.
"Next Friday. So a week from today. Daisy's coming along too since she's got the whole trial thing and she needs something to take her mind off things. Oh, Tyrone is tagging along too." Jacob adds and I nod.
"Okay. That's good. My parents will probably be more lenient." I say and Jacob grins.
"Thanks Ava!" He hugs me tightly before scampering off through the halls.
The warning bell rings and I look at Chris. "I gotta get to English class and you have to get to...whatever class you have right now."
He smiles. "I'll walk you there."
I raise any eyebrow. "How gentlemanly Chris. Didn't think you had it in you, to be honest."
Scoffing, Chris yanks me in the direction of my class. "Please, I am totes a gentleman." He says in a high pitched, girly American voice.
I burst out laughing as we walk to my English class. "Never, ever...do that...again." I gasp in between laughs.
"Shut up sweetheart or I'll make you." He warns and I shut my mouth immediately, making him chuckle.
