Ava's POV
It did get worse. Tina had asked us if she could hang out with us and before we could say no she tagged along anyway, coming into our hotel room. She made friends with my parents right away and even tried to flirt with my brothers.
"Hey, relax sweetheart. She'll be gone before you know it," Chris ribs my shoulders as a scowl etches on my face. God, I hate her.
"Before then, it'll be an antagonizing few days with her. What is her deal?" I say, hatred seeping into my tone. Chris chuckles, kissing my bare shoulder then leans his chin on it.
"I don't know babe, I don't know," He murmurs.
Sighing, I turn to face him, "The thing I don't get is how she's coincidentally in Hawaii the same time as us. I mean, doesn't it seem a little sketchy to you?" My eyebrows furrow in confusion as Chris bites his lip. Damn, that's hot.
"I guess you're right. But no one knows what goes on in that brain of hers. It's better to just leave her alone," He whispers teasingly making me laugh.
Chris and I were just lounging on my bed, just making small talk. My parents had gone out to dinner. My brothers and their girls went out surfing and the rest were watching a movie. A horror movie judging by Daisy's and Jacob's petrified screams and Dean's booming laughter.
I look back at Chris who's still biting his lip. Why you gotta do me like that, Chris? Can you not see how sexy you look right now?
"A penny for your thoughts?" Chris snaps me out of my gaze, smirking as a blush rises to my cheeks.
"I was just thinking..." I trail off.
He cocks an eyebrow, "About?"
"You," I blurt out making Chris burst out laughing and my cheeks turn even redder.
"That's really sweet of you, Ava. What about me were you thinking of?" He wiggles his eyebrows making me slap his arm playfully.
"Dirty minded bastard! I wasn't thinking about you like that. I mean, is thinking about how hot you look when you bite your lip dirty?" I ask, the words just tumbling out of my mouth. I slap a hand over my mouth in embarrassment.
Chris smirks, gently shoving me on my back and crawling on top of me, "I mean, I'd think it is," He whispers, brushing his lips against my neck.
I let out a pleasurable sigh, pulling Chris closer to me, "I love you, Sterling," I say quietly, gazing into his brown orbs.
"I love you too, Mills," He whispers, bringing his lips down onto mine. I tangle my hands into his brown locks, tugging them lightly.
His hands go other side of my waist, pressing the rest of his body on me. I let out a breath, deepening the kiss. Chris pulls away only to reattach his lips on my neck, peppering kisses down to my collarbone. I bring his lips back to mine, grasping his cheeks.
"Having fun in here?"
I yelp, pushing Chris off me and onto the floor causing him to groan in pain. I get up, turning to see a smirking Jacob staring the two of us down.
"We were just-"
"Making out? I know," Jacob cuts me off causing me to blush red. Dammit.
Chris gets up, brushing off nonexistent dust from his messed up shirt. He winks at me then smirks at Jacob.
"You need something?" He asks him. Jacob nods.
"Yeah actually," Jacob looks at me, "Your parents called. They said that we need to meet them at the restaurant there at," He says, placing his hands on his hips.
"Any particular reason why?" I ask, getting up from the bed and walking over to Chris who wraps an arm around me.
Jacob shakes his head, "No. They just said we need to meet them there."
I nod along with Chris then Jacob leaves, shutting the door behind him but not before winking at the two of us. Chris turns to me, reeling me into his chest so he can hug me.
"What do you think they need?" He murmurs and I shrug.
"I have no clue," I reply quietly, closing my eyes as I lean my head against his chest.
I guess we'll find out.
~~~~~~~~~
We arrived at the restaurant half an hour later. It was eerily quiet at the restaurant. Not a car was in sight and I doubted we were even at the right place. I walked out with Chris, slipping my hand in his. Jacob, Dean, and Daisy follow suit.
"I don't like this place. It feels really... creepy," Daisy whispers loudly, clutching my free hand.
I nod, "Yeah, I know. Why didn't my parents go to like a Disney themed restaurant or something?" I joke, trying to lighten the mood.
"My spider senses are tingling," Jacob mumbles and we all stop to look at him. This kid is weird.
He looks at us wide eyed, "What!? I've always wanted to say that," He exclaims.
We chuckle at his antics then keep on walking. Chris opens the door to the place and we all walk in. The minute we step inside, I feel a change in the atmosphere.
There's no one inside and I can't see my parents anywhere, "Is this even the right place?" I whisper to Dean and he shrugs.
"I don't know," Dean whispers back.
"Oh dear sweet Ava, you all are at the right place," A familiar voice says making my breath hitch and my eyes widen in fear.
We turn to see Nick walk out with a gun in each hand, both pointed at the back of my parents heads. Nick grins evilly, cocking each gun and staring at us with a devilish twinkle in his eyes.
"Welcome to hell."
A gunshot sounds off.
