Ava's POV

My body went numb with emotions as I raced to Daisy's house. She dropped the biggest bomb on me. I just wanted for her to be okay. After the tear jerking phone call, I explained to the others that I had to leave. Chris looked a little concerned to say the least but I had gotten out of there as soon as I could.

Rushing up to the porch, I ring the doorbell breathing heavily. A few moments later, Daisy's mom opened the door.

She had a grim expression on her face. "Daisy called you right?"

I nodded hurriedly. "Is she okay? She sounded so scared." My voice wavered.

She shakes her head. "Come in. Maybe you can soothe her."

I walk inside, speeding up the stairs and bursting into her room. "Daisy!"

She's crouched into a corner of her room, her arms around her knees and her head in her lap.

I hear a sniffle. I walk up to her, dropping beside her tiny figure and engulfing her in my arms. "Oh Daisy. I'm so sorry."

A tear slips out making her sniffle again. "A-Ava." She croaks, hugging me tighter.

I hold for a few minutes and rest her head on my shoulder. My best friend. How could this of happened? Next thing I know, Jacob, Dean, Chris, & Tyrone barge into her room.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask them confused.

"We know. Daisy, my best friend forever, oh my god...I just can't-come here!" Jacob exclaims in a jumble, rushing up to her and squeezing us both into a hug.

A sob racks her body as Jacob comforts her soothingly like an older, protective brother.

The other three sit in front of us, Chris coming to sit beside me. He looks at me worriedly before I muster a quick smile for him.

Jacob releases us and the six of us sit quietly, not knowing what to say.

"It happened yesterday night." Daisy says in a small voice.

"Daisy, you don't have to-"

She cuts off Dean with a firm nod. "I want to."

I look at her sternly and she stares back with determination. I nod at her and she sighs.

"I was walking from Arnold's since I had a late shift. I didn't drive there since my dad dropped me off. I was completely fine walking back home when someone grabbed me. I screamed but he had covered my mouth. I tried to fight back but he dragged me behind some empty building and into this garage looking place. He ripped some of my clothing and forc-" She cuts herself off, breathing heavily before continuing.

"Forced himself on top of me. Then he-he uh, you know. I was so scared. I kept crying and he hit me in my side, bruising me. When it was over, he ran from there and I couldn't stop shaking. I saw his face so when I went home shaking and crying, my parents asked what happens and I collapsed. We went to the police and reported it. They have a sketch of the guy now cause of me but I'm so...I'm so scared-" She broke off, more sobs emerging from her.

Jacob wraps her in his arms again as she buried her face into his chest. I shut my eyes, a few tears slipping out. A pair of arms circle around me, encasing me towards their chest and I look up to see Chris staring at me with an unrecognizable expression.
