Race Day Chapter 16

"You can hang out with us then." JH said. "I'm gonna go talk to him." Erik said before leaving. "I was Skyping with him and I noticed that there was a girls shirt on his bed and I just said bye after he told me he didn't know who's it was like how do you not know who's shirt is in your room?" I asked, I haven't cried yet about it but I was starting to let tears fall.

*Erik's P.O.V.*

"Hey Tyler." I called walking into his RV. "Hey Erik what's going on?" He asked coming out of his bedroom and closing the door behind him while putting a shirt on. "Am I interrupting something?" I asked eyeing him. "No, I was just uh taking care of something in there." He said shrugging. "Wanna play some NASCAR?" He asked. "Of course just let me go to the bathroom." I said. "Alright, go ahead." He replied walking to the TV and starting up everything to be ready. I quietly opened the bedroom door and I saw the shirt that Jay was talking about. I took it looking pissed and walked into the living area.

"That was fas," he said before stopping and looking at what I was holding. "What is this?" I asked. "It's my sister's shirt." He said before getting his phone and looking for something. "See look." He said handing me his phone. I looked at the text to his sister and he asked her if the shirt was hers and she said yes. Since I still had my shoes on I looked at him took his phone and ran to where I left Jay and the little group was still there. "It was his sister's shirt." I told her handing her his phone. She then looked at the pictures then and all his other conversation. "You could of texted me this conversation." She said when she looked behind me.

"I know, I have no excuse for why I didn't." I heard Tyler say. "Come on boys let's leave these two alone for a while." I said walking with the three other boys there away from Jay and Tyler.

*Jaylee's P.O.V.*

"I'm not your neighbour, you should have texted me this, here I was thinking you could have been cheating on me." I said. "Babe, maybe it's best we aren't neighbours right now you need to do your own thing, I love you so much but you need to explore things on your own." He said walking closer to me. "I trusted you, but I know how girls are baby I love you." I said hugging him. "When did you get here?" He asked as we pulled away. "Not that long ago actually." I told him. "Does Cam know you're here?" He asked. "Nope." I replied. "Come on." He said as we walked to the garages and to Cam's.

"How's the truck?" I asked Cam when he was done talking to his crew chief. "Good, I like it." He answered turning around. "Jaylee?" He asked walking up and hugging me. "Hey brother." I said as we broke away from the hug. "I thought you weren't coming?" He questioned. "I wasn't because of this one but I decided to be here after moving into my apartment." I told him. "What's going on with him?" He asked. "We made up from our little whatever." I told him. "What?" He asked. "Erik went to talk to Tyler and he brought me Tyler's phone and I'm not mad anymore." I told him. Just then Tyler kissed my head and Cam shooed him away. "No kissey around me." He said.

"Alright, we'll just go back to his RV." I said taking Ty's hand and started to leave. "No funny business." Cam called. "Don't worry." I called back before we went to Tyler's garage. "Jaylee." The crew said when we walked in. "Hey guys." I replied. "You finally showed her the text?" Doug said. "Well Erik Jones did." Tyler replied. "What did he do?" Doug asked. "He came into my RV after I let him in then told me he was going to the bathroom but went to my room and found the shirt then he came and asked 'really' so I showed him the text to my sister and he took my phone then went to find Jay." He told him. "True?" He asked me.

"Erik came running with Tyler's phone and showed me text between Ty and his sister about the shirt." I said. "Alright well it's good we don't have to have him whining about everything now." Doug said. "Yeah and boy twin Hayley doesn't have to hurt him, on or off the track for hurting girl twin hayley." I said, for some reason I like calling us boy twin Hayley and girl twin Hayley. "Thankfully your brother won't hurt me." Tyler replied. "Tyler I thought you and Jay were going back to your RV?" Cam asked walking into the garage. "I wanted to see the crew." I said. "At least theres nothing going on in here." He said before leaving and going somewhere else.

"My brother is weird." I said looking at Tyler. "He is, that's what I've been thinking since I met him, but you are just as weird." He replied. "Thanks." I said playfully hitting his chest. "That's why I like you so much you're weird." He said kissing my lips. "Well, you two can go hang out in the hauler until we need Tyler." Doug said. "Alright, let's go cuddle on the couch in there." I said taking Tyler's hand. "I've missed cuddling with you." He told me. "Yeah, and I've missed cuddling you." I replied and we sat on the couch cuddling in silence.

"We need Tyler." Doug said walking into the hauler a couple hours later. "No." I said grabbing his hand. "Jay, you can have him back later." He said. I knew I wasn't going to win this so I let go of him and said "hurry up and go fast fast fast." Then he walked out of the hauler and I watched practice from the hauler because i was too lazy to leave the couch. He came back after final practice then we went back to the RV and watched TV until we decided to go to bed.
