The Worstand Help Chapter 20

"Cameron is my brother I have to support him just like he has to support me." I answered. "That is true." He replied. The rest of the day I helped Tyler with whatever he needed and the day after that then the day after I took him to the hospital. "You can stay in his room while he's in surgery." The nurse said. "Alright thank you." I replied before she left. I was sitting beside Tyler holding his hand waiting for the doctor to take him to surgery. "I'll be alright kitten, I have to come back." He told me. "I know, I need you, your family needs you your future family definitely needs you, and don't forget about how Tux and Millard need you." I told him. "Yeah a lot of people and future people and pets need me." He replied I got up and gave Tyler a kiss before a nurse came in and told us she had to put Tyler to sleep then the doctor came in and took him away for surgery.

After a couple of hours a nurse rolled Tyler back into the room. "It went fine, he should be awake soon call me or another nurse when he wakes up." She told me. "Alright thank you." I replied before she left. I took his hand in mine again and watched him because there was nothing else to do. "Jaylee Hayley." Tyler said. "I'm right here baby." I replied. "I love you." He told me. "I love you too." I replied before kissing him, then I went to get the first nurse I saw who happened to be around our age. "Ok, Tyler right?" She said. "Yes." He replied. "Broken leg, what happened?" She asked twirling her hair. "I'm a NASCAR driver." He replied. "Oh cool, who's this your sister?" She asked. "Nope my beautiful girlfriend." He replied not realizing she's been flirting with him. "Oh." She replied looking sad. "Can we go now or?" I asked her. "Oh yeah the papers are at the front desk." She told me. "He needs a wheelchair like now." I told her. "Oh yeah alright." She said before leaving.

"Now we can go home and cuddle with our cats." He said. "Yeah that sounds nice, but now I actually need to help you with everything don't I?" I asked. "Even with the bathroom." He replied. "Well now we can stay as close to each other as possible." I said. "Yeah, can you get me my phone please?" He asked. "Of course." I replied before getting his phone. "Hey Brad, I'll be out for ten to thirteen weeks now, I got out of surgery my leg was worst than they thought." Tyler told Brad. "Yeah, alright thank you." He said before hanging up. "He told me to heal up soon." Ty told me. "You better." I replied before kissing him as the nurse came into the room. "Here you go." She said before leaving. I got Tyler into the wheelchair and we went to the front desk. After I signed everything we left.

"Do you want food?" I asked him. "Yeah, sure, where should we go?" He asked. "I don't know." I replied before we decided on something and then went home, this time the doctor gave us crutches for Tyler to use if he has to get out of the wheelchair. "Your mom is coming over to see us in a bit." I told Tyler. "Alright, that sounds fun." He replied and we got back to his apartment. After I got him back into bed I gave him the food and got into bed then Millard came and joined us. "So, what can we do for the next ten to thirteen weeks?" Tyler asked. "Pretty much just do this I guess, I'll bring you outside once in a while." I told him. "Good plans." He replied looking at me. "You can't get rid of me for then next little while." I told him cuddling up to him. "I wouldn't want this any other way." He said kissing me.

That afternoon Tyler's mom came to see how we were and help me for a few days. "Did you two get a cat together?" She asked us. "Millard is my cat, I get really lonely when he's in a truck." I told her. "Millard is a cute name." She said. "He's also blind." Tyler told her. "Yeah, he's also blind." I repeated. "So you're a cat person?" She asked. "Yes of course nothing better than cats." I replied smiling. "Tyler's a cat person too, where is Tux?" She asked. "Somewhere around here." He said before I went to go find Tux. After finding him I went back to the bedroom and put him on the bed. "Here he is." I said sitting back beside Tyler. "Just a heads up he likes me better than Tyler." I told Geri. "He does not." Tyler replied as Tux wanted Millard's spot. "Do you want blankets?" I asked Geri. "No no it's alright I'm good with what's on the bed." She replied. We talked for a few more hours until Geri decided to go to bed and left me with Tyler.

"You're great." Tyler said. "Thanks." I said cuddling up next to him. We fell asleep soon after that tired from today. "Babe, I don't want to wake you but I'm hungry." I heard from beside me. "Don't worry this is what I'm here for." I replied getting up and getting some bowls of cereal for us. "You're a doll sweetheart." Tyler said when I got back into bed. "I try." I replied smiling. "I think I'm going to keep you around forever." He said. "I hope you do." I replied smiling. After breakfast we decided that we should have a TV in the bedroom so everyone got ready and all met up at the door so we could go get a TV.

When we were done I drove us all back to Tyler's place and I set up the TV surprisingly. "Alright, everything is all set." I said going back to sit beside Tyler. He turned it on and we watched random shows with his mom. "Thanks mom for everything." Tyler said when it was time for her to leave. "Thank you so much for coming over and helping us." I said hugging her.
