Moving Home Chapter 23

I went home with one of the other teams so I didn't have to see Tyler or Alexa. When I got home I put in my two weeks and then started to pack things to move. "I can't believe he did this." I said to the person who walked in. "I know Jay but he's dumb, cheating on you." Hali replied. "Why him, he was so good I was good to him I supported him I helped him when he hurt his leg and he cheats on me." I replied before crying. "I know, but you have us." She replied. "And with someone he knew I didn't like and didn't want him to be alone with." I said. "I know, but let's just get you packed and then we can go to our apartment in Ohio." She replied.

"Yeah ok I like that idea." I said and we were off back to her home. "Your sister is home." Hali called when we entered the apartment. "Jaylee." Cam said walking out of the kitchen with Blakely. "Hey Cam hi Blakely." I said hugging my brother and Blakely. "You can take her, we all know she's the only reason you really wanted to come or else you and dad would be going back to Calgary." He said. "Thanks bro I can always count on you." I replied taking Blakely to the living room. "Just let her take care of Blakely, I think it will help her." I heard Hali say quietly. "Yeah I know, I just don't want to see my baby twin sister hurting." Cam replied. I put Blakely in her bounce chair and played with her.

The next few weeks went by fast and it was getting to be Christmas time. We all got packed and ready to go back to Calgary to spend time with family. "Are you letting her put the star up?" I asked. "Of course I am it's tradition." He replied. "Good, don't let it die it's a good tradition." I told him. When we finally got home I had to stay in a hotel because all of my stuff was in storage in North Carolina. "The hotel doesn't allow pets where's Millard?" I asked when I got into the house. "He's in your old room, after the holidays we can go down and move you into your old room." My dad told me. "Alright that sounds like a plan." I said before going to find my cat and brought him downstairs. "Blakely I brought a friend for you." I said showing Millard to my baby niece. "Cat." I said while making her pet the cat which made her smile.

"I'm so happy to be here around people who love me, and won't lie to me or cheat on me." I said during dinner. "You deserve so much better than Tyler Reddick." My little sister said. "Yeah I'm around so many happy loving people I don't care about that dumb boy." I said smiling looking at everyone around. After Christmas came and went we were driving to North Carolina for all of my things and then leaving back home. "Are you ok?" My dad asked on our way home the next day. "Yeah he was stupid he doesn't deserve me." I replied. "I'm glad you think that way." He replied. "Yeah well he did cheat on me and with someone he knew I didn't like." I said again to someone. "He's going to be driving for the Xfinity series part time." My dad said.

"Yeah I know." I said. "You won't be upset?" He asked. "No I'll try to avoid him how hard would that be I have like no friends in the Xfinity series." I told him. "So you will go see John Hunter Erik, aren't you friends with Cole Custer he's in Xfinity isn't he?" My dad asked. "Yeah, Cole's in Xfinity I forgot he moved up." I said. We talked the rest of the way home about anything. "Jaylee, wake up we are home." My dad said after shaking me waking me up. "Can we go find me a job tomorrow?" I asked. "Of course princess." He said as we got all of my things inside, my mom and sister helping too. After everything was moved into my room and set up I went to bed, after Millard jumped on my bed. "I kind of miss Tux." I said petting my cat. The next day I got ready for the day and we went out to look of a job for me.

A few weeks later I had enough money to move out of my parents house and we were once again moving my stuff to a different place. "Is there something wrong with me?" I asked Maddison when she came over one day. "No not at all Jay, he was a jerk." She replied. "I know but we didn't even last a year." I said. "You haven't cried over him." She replied. "Because why cry over someone who cheated?" I said. "That's the spirit, let's go shopping." Maddison said before we went shopping.
