The Party Chapter 30

"Jaylee my dear you look so beautiful." Geri said and I thanked her. "My first grandbaby." She then said when she let go of me after our hug. "Hey Tyler." She said moving onto her son and hugging him. "Hey mom, I love what you've done with the place." He said. "Thank you." She replied. "And Alexa glad you could make it." She said hugging Alexa. "Well I didn't want to come because it's Jaylee and Tyler's child but they gave me no choice to come because I'm the step-mom." She replied. "Well I'm glad you did and and yes you won't be the baby's biological mom but you'll still be in that baby's life." She said before taking us to the backyard where everything was.

Alexa found a quiet spot to sit while me and Tyler went around to our families and said hi to everyone. "Jaylee you look beautiful." My mom said hugging me. "Thanks mom." I replied hugging her back. "And Tyler you look good." She said hugging him. "Thank you." He replied and my dad came up with my brother, Hali and Blakely. "Dad." I said hugging him. "Hey Jaylee." He replied before nodding at Tyler. "Brother." I said hugging him and hugging Hali then taking Blakey. "Hi Blakely." I said sitting on the ground. "Hi auntie Jay." She replied before Tyler's mom started games, food and presents, the reveal wouldn't be until the end. "Blakely can stay with me for the games." Alexa said coming up to us.

"No, you should join us just not for the which gender is it games since we know." I replied. "Alright then who will take care of her?" She asked. "Me and Tyler." I replied before passing her to Ty. "Jay made a deal with Hali and her brother so we are pretending this little one is the baby." He said tickling Blakely and she was laughing while squirming around. "This is what I can't wait to see when the baby comes." I said before we started games. The first few games were baby shower games since it was a half shower half gender reveal. "So Jaylee would you like everyone to suggest a name for each gender?" Geri asked me. "Yeah it will help us." I replied.

At the end of the shower everyone gathered around a box that had balloons that were either pick or blue. "Jay Tyler would you like to do it?" Geri asked and I gave Blakely to Alexa. "We will." I replied and we opened the box which let up the blue balloons. "I'm having a little racer." I announced smiling. "Oh Jaylee." My mom said hugging me. "If he will be anything like Tyler watch out." Geri said. "Oh don't worry, I'll be able to handle little man, I had Cam around." I told her. After we got a chance to talk to everyone they all went home leaving Tyler's parents, my parents, my brother, pHali and Blakely me Tyler and Alexa to clean up. "Jaylee why don't you play with Blakely." Hali said handing me her daughter. "Because of the baby, I get it." I said going to play with Blakely.

"Are you ready Jay?" Tyler asked walking towards us. "Do you have everything in the truck?" I asked. "Yeah Alexa helped, Hali gave me Blakely's car seat so she will be coming back with us." He told me. "And all of her things?" I asked. "Your brother will bring them later, he says just put her on your bed for her nap she has to take when we get back and make sure she can't roll around too much." He told me. "Alright then let's go." I said so we said bye to everyone got Blakely then left. "I'll sit in the back this time with Blakely." I said when we got to Tyler's truck. "Alright, that sounds good because she doesn't really know me." Alexa replied so Tyler got Blakely into the car seat and I got into the back and we were off when Tyler got the truck going.

"Can we keep everything in your apartment?" Tyler asked while he and Alexa started to bring in the presents we got. "Yeah of course, we can go through everything when you set up the baby's room in my apartment and see what we both like." I replied as we all went to my apartment and I put Blakely to sleep while the other two continued to bring things in. "I truly am sorry things went this way." Alexa said walking into my room. "I'm sorry I let him go so far." I replied. "He really should be the one to say sorry to both of us for making this situation happen in the first place." Alexa said. "He should, none of this would have happened if he wasn't a cheater." I said. "Yeah, hey do you still hate me?" She asked.

"Not anymore we went through the same thing with the same person, let's put everything in the past." I said. "Ok thank you Jaylee." She said and we hugged. Cam came a little while later with Blakely's things and we set them up in baby boy's room. "Thank you Cam." I said hugging him. "Anything for you little sis." He replied. "Bye Cam I'll see you later?" I asked. "Yeah of course." He replied before leaving. I went in to check on Blakely before making myself something to eat. "Auntie?" Blakely called from the room. "Yes Blakely?" I asked. "I'm hungry." She said. "Ok Blakely we can get you something to eat." I said picking her up. "Auntie have a baby?" She asked. "Yeah you're going to have a baby cousin." I told her. "Will my daddy be baby's unca?" She asked.

"Yeah your daddy with be his unca." I replied. "Boy?" She asked. "Yes a boy." I replied. "What's his name?" She asked. "We don't have a name for him yet." I replied. "Luke." She replied. "What about Braden or Caleb, maybe Jareth." I said to her. "Luke." She replied. "We can talk to Tyler about the baby boy's name." I told her. "Ok." She replied. "Hey Tyler, we were talking about names and Blakely really likes the name Luke." I told him when he came over. "Baby Luke." He said. "We have to talk about his last name." I said. "Luke Reddick." He said. "Alright, Luke Reddick." I replied. "Cousin Luke." Blakely said. "I think Braden would be a nice name too." I then said. "No his name is Luke." Blakely said.

"I think Tyler and I have to pick out his name, but Luke will be at the top of our list." I told her. "Ok." She replied.
