Gender Chapter 29

"So are we finding out the gender?" Dr.Sanchez asked us. "Yes, we really want to know." I replied and Tyler took my hand. "Are you two together?" She asked. "No it's complicated." Tyler replied. "Alright let's find out the gender." She said before rubbing jelly on me and finding our baby. "Healthy little one." She said. "Ah, look right there." She said pointing at the screen. "We're going to have a boy." Tyler said excitedly. "A baby boy." I replied smiling at the screen. I got the jelly off myself then we went for lunch. "My family is coming down in a couple of days I would like to tell them in person." I told him when we got our food. "Alright, I can keep it a secret and I'll make sure no one puts the information online until you are ok with it." He replied.

"We are having a reveal party at your parents house, but you can tell Alexa now." I told him. "She wants to know just as much as I do, and when did this party get planned?" He asked. "I have your moms number in case I need anything for baby boy." I told him. "My little racer." He said smiling then we ate. We got back to the apartment building and he walked me to mine. "I think Alexa should be included if she wants, she'll be the step-mother and I need to get to know her if she's going to be in our child's life." I told him while opening the door. "We talked about it and she didn't want to come today because she wanted it to be just us but she'll come with me when I start to put his room together so you two can talk or whatever." He told me.

"Alright I like that idea, and we can have girl time." I said. "Thank you for everything you've done, and for keeping this little guy I know it's not the situation you would see yourself in but things have to be this way." He replied. "Yeah well I wouldn't want this any other way, I get a little boy and I gain a couple of friends." I told him and he hugged me. "I'll see you at the party." I said. "Yeah I'll see you at the party." He replied before kissing my check then leaving. "Hey sis, we came here early to see you." Cam said walking up the stairs. "Cameron, Hali Blakely." I said hugging everyone. "How's the baby?" Hali asked. "We found out the gender and I can't wait to pick out names." I told her. "I liked picking out Blakely's name." She replied kissing Blakely's head.

"Could I spend a week with Blakely, to see if I can do this thing, and with Tyler and Alexa?" I asked. "Yeah sure go ahead, gives us a week of relaxation and no baby." Cam replied. "Hali?" I questioned. "Yeah sure please give us a week of us." She replied. "Just no more babies, we have this little girl and my little one." I replied. "Alright let me give you a tour, are you sure you want to stay in a hotel?" I asked them. "Blakely needs to learn to behave where ever we go." Hali replied. "Alright, tell our parents we need a portable crib, clothes and other supplies for Blakely so she can stay with me for a week." I told Cam. "Yeah I will tonight." He replied. "Where's Tyler?" Hali asked. "Home, I told him to not be so pushy." I told her. "We should tell him our plans." She replied so we all went to tell him about our plan of me taking care of Blakely.

"Hey Ty, I'm going to be taking care on Blakely for the week after everyone goes home, I think it would be good if we pretended that she was our baby to see how we need to plan to take care of baby." I told him. "Yeah, we can treat her like our baby for the week." He replied. "Alright so that's that." I said and I invited him to go out with us to eat and so off everyone went. The next day my parents came so the family went out to eat and we talked and caught up with life and the situation. "Hey Tyler what's going on?" I asked to the boy waiting outside my door. "I was just wondering when are we going to pick out names for him?" He asked walking into my apartment with me. "How about we sit down next month and come up with a few names." I replied. "Alright that sounds good, after the party we are going to talk about the date." He told me. "That sounds like a plan." I said smiling then he left.

"Are you ready Jaylee?" Tyler asked when I opened the door. "Yeah just let me put on my shoes." I said finding the right shoes. "You look pretty today." Tyler said when I stood up with his help. "Thank you." I replied smiling at him. I was wearing a sundress that was tight enough that you could tell that I was pregnant it had flowers all over it. "My little guy." Tyler said putting a hand on my bump. "He's good, hasn't been keeping me up at night or making me sick." I told him. "That's my little guy, taking care of mommy." He replied before we left. "Is Alexa coming with us?" I asked on our way down. "Um no, she said that it was our day and she didn't want to crash it." He replied. "But she's the step-mom, she's in on it too." I replied. "We can go pick her up just text her to make sure she's ready." He replied. "Alright." I said before making sure she was going to be ready. "Hey Alexa." I said as she got into the back of the truck. "I don't want to take the spotlight away from you two and the baby." She replied. "Everyone would have been asking where you were." I replied.

"That's true." She replied. "Jay has said that you're the step-mom, you're a big part of this boy's life too." Tyler said. "Yeah this little guy is going to be loved." I replied rubbing my stomach.
