Talking Leads To Chapter 24

*two years later*

I was at the track with Erik and Hayley just walking around talking about anything and everything and Erik being excited about not being a rookie in the Monster Energy series. "Is Tyler seeing Alexa still?" I then asked seeing Tyler walking around. "I'm not sure Jay." Erik replied. "Hey Erik, Hi Hayley." Tyler said coming up to us. "Hi uh, wait Jaylee?" He asked. "Hi Tyler." I said smiling. "How have you been since you broke up with me?" He asked. "Actually I've been really happy." I replied. "That's good me and Alexa broke up a couple weeks ago actually." He told me. "Oh, sorry to hear that." I replied before Erik and Hayley left.

"I'm not doing anything do you maybe want to catch up?" He asked. "Uh." I said looking for someone else but no one was around that I knew. "You know what, why not it won't hurt." I said and we went to his RV which was a mistake since things happened and we ended up naked in bed. "What just happened?" I asked not sure how we got in bed. "I still love you." He replied. "I can't Tyler you hurt me and it was with someone you knew I didn't like and didn't want you to be around." I said before getting dressed and leaving the RV to go find someone I knew and liked. "Hayley I need to talk to you." I said finding her in Erik's pit box for practice. "Come on we can go to Erik's RV." She replied before we quickly went back to the RV.

"What's going on?" She asked. "Tyler took me back to his RV." I told her. "Did you two talk?" She asked. "Not a lot of talking, more of uh, yelling, a lot of moaning." I told her. "Oh no Jaylee what were you thinking?" She asked. "I don't know I-I-I still I still love him." I said. "Well he did say he was," Hayley said before stoping what she was saying. "What?" I asked. "He's not single Jay he lied." She replied. "What?" I asked before she gave me her phone and there was a recent picture of Tyler with Alexa. "I'm gonna kill him." I said before putting shoes on and going to find Tyler. "You told me you were single." I yelled at Tyler when I saw him then kind of tackled him.

"What the heck Jaylee?" He questioned. "You told me you were single then slept with me and after I find out you're still with the girl you cheated on me with." I said before hitting him repeatedly. Someone pulled me off of him. "What is going on?" JH said. "He told me he was single and then slept with me and then I find out he's not single." I told him. "Really Tyler?" He asked. "She's so beautiful I couldn't help it." He said. "I don't want to see your lying cheating face ever again." I said before storming off, JH following me. "Hey Jay forget about him." JH said when we got into his hauler. "I hate him." I said before crying. "Jay." He said before sitting down and moving me so I was sitting with my head on his shoulder.

"Everything will work out alright you're protected right did you use a condom?" He asked. "He didn't use a condom." I said before I gasped. "What Jay?" He asked. "I haven't taken birth control since I broke up with Tyler." I said. "So no protection?" He asked. "Oh god what do I do?" I asked. "Don't worry where is Hayley?" He asked. "I don't care if he's in my life or not but I want a baby." I told him. "Then you have support to raise a baby, you can be with me, or another driver we can raise the baby as a community." He said. "Maybe I shouldn't it will just be a reminder of Tyler." I said not knowing what to do. "I think you should do what ever you want." He replied. "I'll let nature take it's course." I said before JH had to go practice.

"Erik I was stupid." I said that night. "What happened?" He asked. "Tyler wanted to talk to me so he took me back to his RV but we didn't do a lot of talking." I told him. "Wait did you two?" He asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Did you two use any protection?" He asked. "I don't know I don't think so and when I broke up with Tyler I stopped taking my birth control." I told him. "Do you want a baby?" He asked. "Yes even if it is half Tyler." I replied. "Then keep the baby if you are pregnant." He said. "How do I raise the baby?" I asked. "Everyone will help you darling I mean you are twenty-three." He replied.

For the next month I hung out with Blakely taking care of her and without telling anyone practicing in case I have a baby since I didn't want to go to races and run into Tyler. For a week I threw up every morning and got excited because it was time to take a pregnancy test. "Hali did you get the test?" I asked when she came into my apartment. "Yes, you're lucky I could get this much time for lunch." She replied giving me the bag. "I got you all the test I used when I became pregnant with Blakely." She told told me before I went to take the test and waited the amount of time it told me. "Hali where you this scared when you first found out about Blakely?" I asked her.

"Yeah, but then your brother did everything for me and I could relax and go to work." She replied. "What if Tyler doesn't want the baby?" I asked. "Then he doesn't get to be in the babies life." She replied. "I hope he comes around and decides to be in the babies life if I am pregnant." I replied before pacing around the room. "Hey everything will be just fine Jay you have your family biological and NASCAR." She replied before I opened the door and let her in. "So what does the test say?" She asked. "I don't know I'm too scared to look." I said. "Ok here take my hand and we will both look." She said before I grabbed her hand. I wanted her to be with me to help me find a way to tell my family if I am. "The test says?" She asked as I looked at it.
