🌸A/N🌸
Finally, we're here. Ready to say goodbye to this story. (Y'all, this has been a hard book to write ok, don't judge.)
As i said, after the last two chapters (this one and another one i'll post later) there'll be bonus chapters that will be updated through summer and after it. This book won't really be over until, well, the bitter end.
Enjoy this 'cause it took me a while to write it.
(Also i hope my wedding is like this 😩👌🏻💯)
—The church bells started ringing and Miles was already in front of the altar, with Matt and Jamie by his side.
This place had a beautiful decoration with golden details, beautiful flowers everywhere and a lilac carpet that went from the big, big door to the altar. The people was already there, everyone was expectant for what would happen next. Some of the guests would be wondering if Alex would or wouldn't get there and marry Miles, others, others were already in tears; happy for the couple.
The band started playing that song we all know, that song that will be stuck in Miles and Alex's minds, even though it had a bit of a twist, a rock twist. Miles' friends were the ones who helped him with the music.
And suddenly there he was, our pale, short little boy, holding David's arm as they made their way to the altar. David was in tears and Penny was watching them walk from the first row, she was just about to tear up as well.
It was emotional; their beautiful son found his happiness, and today he's making sure it'll last forever.Miles looked at Alex as the details in his white suit sparkled while they reflected the sunlight that came through the coloured glass in the windows. Alex looked up to him and flashed a smile with pink cheeks, and his fluffy hair moved with each step he took; his fiancé smiled back, a big smile, showing all his white teeth and a tear rolled down his cheek. A tear filled with happiness, no doubt in that, but also a tear that would've meant a lot in the past.
But today, the past doesn't matter.Alex and David were now in front of Miles and the priest, David turned to Alex as he did too, father and son were facing each other with a smile on their faces and tears filling their eyes as people in the back awed along.
"Promise me you'll be happy."
"I will be, dad. I promise." He smiled and hugged his father with his right arm while he holded a bouquet with lavander flowers in his left hand.
Then, David faced Miles and gave him a hug too, whispering something into Miles' ear.
"Promise me you'll make him happy."
"I promise, sir. I swear i will do."Alex walked to stand next to Miles and listen to the priest say the things you usually hear at weddings, Miles constantly looked at how beautiful Alex was today, and Alex constantly flashed a smile at him. Miles was beautiful today too, he was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a black bowtie.
"We are gathered together on this beautiful afternoon to share with Alexander David Turner and Miles Peter Kane as they exchange vows of their everlasting love.
Before we start, are they any objections?"
Everyone was quiet, no one stood up or stopped the wedding . Everyone remained on their seats.
"As Alex and Miles take their vows today, we are privileged to witness the joyous love of a new family, a family that will be nourished and nurtured through the devotion of love.
May their marriage bring them the peace, joy, comfort and contentment that is known in the hearts of all God's children.-"The shorter boy in the couple looked up at the priest as he talked, his hands were sweaty while he holded the bouquet with both of them.
"-And may Alex and Miles both look forward to each new season of their marriage. For all seasons bring with them their own special moments and memories."
