In another time, and place a young girl runs in to the middle of the street. Her name is Lucy Pevensie the youngest of the four. She stops in front of a car that was close to hitting her, but was a close call if they didn't stop.
"Watch where your going!"yelled the driver.
"I'm sorry," Lucy replied.
Lucy then darts to her destination looking for her older sister Susan. When she turned the corner she spotted her sister with a geeky boy from what looks like he goes to the school across the road: Hendon House. But it looks like they are in a conversation, but she couldn't wait.
"Susan!" She yells running up to her, " you better come quick!"
And with that both girls ran across the street to the station. When they got there Peter and a couple of bullies were fighting. Susan was disappointed in her own brother. She knew he had changed, but they've all changed. Both Lucy and Susan were shoved to the side to what looks like Edmund.
"Edmund!" Lucy yelled.
Edmund had jumped on the guy who was behind Peter. Until they heard running foot steps and whistles. Some soldiers came to break up the fight and one told Peter 'to act his age'. Edmund had set down his luggage next to the bench we where sitting on. And spoke directly to Peter.
"Your welcome," he said.
Peter looked at him and replied, " I had it sorted."
"What was it this time?" Susan asked.
"He bumped me."
"So you hit him?" Asked Lucy.
"No. After he bumped me, he tried to get me to apologize. That's when I hit him," he exclaimed.
"Why can't you just walk away?"Susan questioned.
"I shouldn't have to! Don't you ever get tired of being treated like a kid?" Peter retorted.
"Uh, we are kids," Edmund responds with a raised eyebrow.
"Well I wasn't always. ... It's been a year. How long does he expect us to wait?" Peter asked looking at his siblings.
Susan always stating the obvious answer," I think it's time to accept the fact that we live here. It's no use pretending any different."
When Susan was done with Peter she noticed the geeky boy from earlier approaching.
"Oh no," she turned her attention to her siblings and spoke to them, "pretend your talking to me."
Edmund looks at her confused and spoke directly to her, "we are talking to you."
"OW!"
Lucy jumps up and spins around looking at her seat. Thinking of what might have hurt her.
"Be quiet, Lucy," said Susan.
"Something pinched me!," Lucy retorted back.
"Hey, stop pulling!" Yelled Peter while he looked at Ed.
Edmund looks at him," I'm not touching you!"
But when he said that both him and Susan felt it.
"What was that?"asked Susan.
The train started moving past them without stopping.
"It feels like magic," Lucy said excitedly.
"Quick, everybody hold hands," said Susan.
Edmund spoke to Peter, " I'm not holding your hand!"
Peter grabs Edmunds hand annoyed. The train races past them and the bricks ate pulled away. The luggage, the seat, the platform, and the station completely vanished. The four find themselves on a beach slightly confused. Susan and Lucy smile at each other, and run off.
While Peter and Edmund follow in there tracks. They jump into the water and start playing. Then, Edmund looks up catching a glimpse of a shadow disappearing into the trees. But he just shoke it off and asked.
"Where do you suppose we are?"
"Well, where do you think?" Replied Peter with a hint of laughter.
"Well, I don't remember any ruins in Narnia," exclaimed Edmund.
The pevensies look up and see the ruins. While they were exploring Lucy found an apple and took a bite. Peter walks up some steps and looks around while Lucy stares at the water and asks.
"I wonder who lived here."
Susan notices something on the ground and picks it up she spoke.
"I think we did."
While the four children look at the golden chess knight that Susan has found.
"Hey that's mine.... From my chess set."said Edmund.
"What chess set?"asked Peter.
"Well, I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in Finchely, did I?" Edmund replied.
Lucy looks over at the ruined dais and remembers everything.
"It can't be."
"Lucy!" Peter yelled out.
Lucy runs up over to the dais and they all follow.
"Don't you see," explained Lucy.
"What?" Peter replied with confusion.
"Imagine walls... And collums there...and a glass roof," Lucy says.
They look, picturing it into there minds. Until Peter spoke up.
"Cair Paravel."
But what they had not noticed was a mysterious figure sitting in a tree. Watching the scene. Once the figure heard what they had said he vanished into thin air.
......
Halfway across Narnia, Glozelle and his men where riding across the bridge. While Miraz stands on a balcony with Prunaprismia, while the baby was in his arms. He looks over spotting Glozelle and his men returning, and hands the baby back to his wife. He walks into the stables where they were.
"Wait my Lord! It isn't what you think," Glozelle said.
"Then what is it?," questioned Miraz.
"We're not entirely sure," replied Glozelle.
While he nods to a soldier who then removes the cloth on a horse. Miraz' eyes widen in pure shock.
"Impossible," Miraz exclaims. While he and Glozelle exchange glances......
While in the Great hall of where the Telmarine lords debate.
"I warned this council when it put it's trust in Miraz. ... There would be consequences," said Sosepian.
One of the council members retort back," No, no. We cannot accuse the lord protected without proof!"
Another council member spoke up," how long are we going to continue to hide behind that excuse? Until every seat in this chamber is empty?"
The doors open and Miraz enters, and he crosses the room to his own seat. And he spoke.
"Lords of the council, my apologies for being late. I was not aware we were in session."
"No doubt you were other wise occupied," said Sosespian.
"My lord?" Questioned Miraz.
"Ever since the death of Caspian the ninth, you have behaved as if you were king. And now it seems behind these walls, even Prince Caspian and Prince Killian have gone missing," said a council member.
"My deepest condolences, Lord Miraz. Imagine losing your nephews, the rightful heirs to the throne, on the very night your wife blessed you with a son," said Sosepian.
"Thank you, Lord Sosepian. Your compassion is a boon in such troubled times," exclaimed Miraz.
"I trust you can tell us how such a tragedy could have occurred," said Sosepian again.
"That is the most disturbing news of all. Our beloved Caspian and Killian were abducted.....by narnians!," replied Miraz.
"You go too far, Miraz! You expect us to stand by while you blame such a blatant crime on fairytales?," asked a council member.
Miraz signals to Glozelle, and he opens the door. Two soldiers bring in Trumpkin while he stumbles on his own feet trying to catch up. The Telmarine Lords stand up with a gasp.
"We forget, my Lords... Narnia was once a savage land. Fearsome creatures roamed free. Much of ou forefathers blood was shed to exterminate this vermine. .... Or so we thought. But while we've been bickering amongst ourselves, they've been breeding, like cockroaches under a rock. Growing stronger. Watching us. Waiting to STRIKE!," exclaimed Miraz.
SLAP!
Miraz hits Trumpkin, which displaces the gag to letting him speak.
"And you wonder why we don't like you. Especially Killian."
"Leave Killian out of this. I intend to strike back. Even if I have to cut down the entire forest. I assure you. I will find Prince Caspian and Prince Killian, and finish what our ancestors began," and with that said Miraz left the room with out any one else saying a word.
