-In Killian's Mind-

As I opened my eyes I was greeted with a fifty foot wave. As I looked around I noticed that I was on a small secluded island. As I looked back at the wave and stared at my reflection. I had noticed two figures at my sides. As I got a closer look I noticed it was my mother and father. I stared at there reflection with tears in my eyes. That was when a hand was placed on my upper arm. I noticed the hand belonged to my mother.

As I looked into the eyes of my mother with hope. The hint of happiness was shown in her eyes, but there was a hint of sadness in them. Yet my fathers held wisdom and hope. There was no trace of any other type of emotion. As we stood there for a while in a calm silence. I was starting to get confused in why I was here.

"What's going on here? Why am I here?" I question.

"We're in limbo my son," father explained.

"I understand that, but why? I'm not even dead," I question once more.

"Because your powers are slowly killing you dear one. It is time to choose your path."  Looking at the one who spoke, and noticed it was Aslan himself.

As he stood next to my fathers right side I noticed I was staring in awe. As I slowly lowered myself to my right knee. As I bowed my head I heard a chuckle from my own father, yet it stopped once my mother gave him a harsh glare.

"Arise, young prince," I stood at thisuntil he spoke again, "Walk with me your Highness's."

As my parents and walk with Aslan in the middle of the three of us. At this moment I was confused as to why I was seeing my parents here with Aslan. I've heard from the professor that once people head into Aslan's country there is no way back. So why are they here. Most importantly with me and Aslan.

As I was so late in thought I did not notice the two doors right in front of me. That was until i collided face first in one of the doors in front of me.

"What in the world!" I muttered while rubbing the side of my face.

As I looked towards my parents and Aslan, who let out small chuckles, I looked towards the two doors in front of us. I was wondering why there were doors in the middle strip of sand. As I turned to look to the three standing in front of me.

"What's going on here?" I question with a hint of confusion written all over my face.

From Aslan he gave me a look of sympathy.

"I think you know whats going on Killian," my mother spoke gently in my direction.

"But, it isn't time yet. Its to early for me to choose," I spoke quickly, " why now?"

"Because the time is near young one. I can feel your mind is slowly being ripped apart by your powers that you poses," Aslan spoke calmly. "These two doors in front of you are the pathes to your future."

As I look back at the doors I slowly remember a song my mother used to sing to me. And now I understand the meaning behind it.

"Should I choose the smoothest course. Steady as a beating drum? Should I choose my fate today? Is all my dreaming at an end?" I slowly look at Aslan then to my parents with sadness, "or do you still wait for me dream giver. Just around the river bend?"

I slowly closed my eyes, and slowly exhaled softly. As I slowly opened my eyes, and turned to them slowly. I looked at them with determination in my eyes. As I was staring at them I heard a faint whisper, and warmth on my wrist. I looked down and noticed my bracelet glowing brighter then before. That's when I heard Lucy's voice softly whisperwhispering in my ear.
