~ Today ~

My aunt opens the door and we step outside. I close the door behind us and we start walking.

We walk towards a little cafe not to far from my aunts house and we go inside. My aunt seems to know a lot of people here because she starts greeting people almost right away as we walk inside. My aunt and I sit down at a little table near the window. When the waitress walks our way my aunt greets her and I give her a friendly smile and introduce myself. My aunt orders a coffee and some pancakes and I decide to get the same. The waitress walks away and my aunt starts talking about the neighborhood here. I was right. This really is that kind of city where everyone knows everyone..

Not too long after we ordered the waitress comes back with our coffee and pancakes. She puts the food in front of us and we thank her before she walks away. The pancakes look really good and when I take a bite they taste just as good as they look, if not better. I take a sip of my coffee. I might come here everyday for breakfast but honestly I don't even mind one bit, this is delicious.

After we finish our pancakes and coffee and after my aunt pays for breakfast we go outside again. "So, would you like to go on a little tour around the neighborhood?" my aunt asks me. "Sure, it's not like I have different plans here" I laugh a little and my aunt joins me.

We walk on the sidewalk and I look around me while my aunt shows me some local shops and other local buildings like the church. I'm not gonna lie, everything here look kind of cute.

My aunts introduces me to a few people along the way. People are very friendly to one another here and it is nice to see that. Back in where I live, I mean used to live, people didn't really talk to each other on the streets. Almost everywhere you'd look you would see people that were busy with there phones. Mostly busy for work, people like that were just too easy to recognize. Business suit, suitcase and most of the time talking on the phone. There were also a lot of teenagers on skateboards back there. I see neither of those types of people here. Here everyone looks very casual and friendly. A huge difference.

I see that all of my thinking made me walk slower and my aunt walks a couple of meters ahead of me. I don't think she noticed my absence because she is still walking, talking and pointing at buildings.

I start to run toward my aunt but bump into something and fall. I sit on the ground and when I see two legs I know I didn't bump into something, I bumped into someone. My first instinct is to defend myself, don't even ask me why.

"Watch where you're going" I say harshly as I stand up. I instantly regret my harsh words when I look up to see two gorgeous hazel greenish eyes staring at me. Then I notice those eyes belong to a beautiful brown haired boy. Wait what? I catch myself staring and I look down at the ground. "I'm sorry.." the boy and I say in unison and I run towards my aunt for the second try.

My aunt is still talking and I look back at the boy and see he is looking at me as well. What the hell was that? And more importantly, who was that?
