Chapter Eight.

I wake up. I must have fallen asleep while on the phone with Rose because I don't remember going to sleep.

I look at the clock and see that it is only 8 am. I look around my room and see that I still haven't unpacked my bags yet, so I decide to do that right know.

I climb out of bed and walk towards my luggage. I open one of my bags and start taking my shirts and sweaters out and hang them in my still empty closet. I open another bag, take my pants out, refold them and place them in my closet as well. I close my closet and open the last bag. In the bag I see my make-up bag, some perfume bottles and some other stuff to put on my dresser.

When I take everything out I see a few pictures. One of them is a picture of my mom and me as a baby.

My mother looked so beautiful.. And I was such a fat baby. I laugh a little at the thought. I set the picture next to the picture of my father and little sister and grab the next picture.

The second picture makes my eyes water. It is a photo of my little sister. I sit on my bed and look at the picture.

This is my favorite photo of her. Margo and I went for a walk and ended up at some petting zoo. They had a few goats so I asked if we could pet them. William, the man who works there took us to a little field and showed us some little new born lambs. Margo was so excited, she loved animals. William asked Margo is she would like to adopt one and I could see her face lighting up. William explained us that if we were to adopt one it would still live there but we could name it and come visit any time that we wanted. Of course I knew Margo would love that so we adopted one of the little lambs. Margo named her Poppy and we visited her almost every day after school.

One day, on my mothers birthday, we went there and Poppy lay on Margo's lap, in a blanket she brought and that is when I took the picture. She looked so peaceful and full of love in her white dress, on the grass with her baby goat on her lap. She looked beautiful. She really loved that goat and even tho I don't have that much with animals, it was fun to see Poppy grow.

I haven't visited Poppy since the accident.. I should have probably told William about everything that happened but he hasn't really been on my mind lately. I will have to go see him once I'm back there.

I look at the clock again and see that half an hour has passed. My aunts will probably wake up soon. I should make breakfast for her today, since she did it for me yesterday, she failed but at least she tried.

I stand up from the bed and put the picture next to the others and go downstairs.
