When I got home I went straight to my bedroom and got all the things I would need for tonight.
"Mom, dad! I'm sleeping over Emily's house tonight." I called downstairs to my parents who were currently setting up some Halloween decorations.
"You can't tonight sweetie." My mom called back.
"What!? Why?" I said surprised.
"Your aunts having another Halloween party and I told her we would all be there." She said from the bottom of the stairs, a bowl of candy in her hands.
"No way, I'm not going to another one of her parties, they suck." I whined, pouting my lips, giving her my best puppy eyes.
"Fine, you can go to Emily's." She finally gave in.
"Yay! Thank you, thank you, thank you." I ran down the stairs and hugged her tightly.

I checked my phone and saw that I'd been added into yet another group chat with Emily and Kylie.
Emily: You both ready for tonight?
Gabrielle: OMG yeah duh, it's gonna be so fun.
Kylie: I found the ouija board:)
I put my phone in the pocket of my hoodie and sat on my bed. It was only 4:30pm I had ages left until I had to leave.
A loud thud made me jump, I turned around and saw that one of my school books had fallen off my desk.
"It must've been the wind." I muttered to myself looking over to my window but seeing it firmly closed. My whole body shivered, I quickly went downstairs to help my parents set up, brushing the incident off.

It was 5:55pm so I grabbed my bag and went downstairs and stood by the front door.
"Mom, I've gotta go now." I yelled into the kitchen.
"Ok honey." My mom said picking up her coat and her car keys.
We got in the car and she drove me to Emily's house.
"Bye mom, I love you." I gave her a hug before getting out of the car, it had started raining heavily.
"Love you too, be safe." She yelled after me before driving off.
I quickly made my way to Emily's front door, not wanting to be alone in the dark street, I knocked on it, after a few seconds she answered.
"Hey girl." She said smiling, hugging me.
"Hi, is Kylie here yet?" I asked while going inside.
"Not yet." As if on cue there was another knock on the door, I skipped over to the door and answered it.
"Hey Kylie." I said happily chirped.

After about an hour of us three chilling and hanging around there was a knock on the door.
"More trick or treaters." Emily sighed, getting up and grabbing a bag of sweets before answering the door, me and Kylie went with her.
"Trick or treat!" Three familiar voices said in unison.
I squinted my eyes to look at the three figures standing in the darkness, they were none other than Luke, Logan and Elliot, just great.
"Aren't you three too old for trick or treating?" Kylie said rolling her eyes.
"Babe, trust me, you can never be too old for trick or treating. Plus there's free candy, you can't turn down free candy." Logan quickly kissed Kylie quickly on the lips, which made us all stare at them in shock.
Kylie soon realised what happened, "Um, well I didn't want you to find out this way but..." She looked at Logan.
"Me and Kylie have been dating for the last two months." Logan said quickly in one breath.
There was an awkward silence, Luke coughed before saying, "Congratulations you guys." We all nodded in agreement.
"So why are you three really here?" I asked with a frown.
"We came for the ouija board." Elliot admitted, I giggled when I saw that he had fake vampire teeth in.
Me and Emily looked at each other confused. "How did you know?" Emily asked suspiciously.
"Well, someone posted a picture of it on Instagram with the caption that I quote 'can't wait to do the ouija board tonight', so we came because it sounded fun." Elliot said with a slight smirk.
We all looked at Kylie, she was looking down guiltily. "Um... Sorry." She mumbled.
"Oh well, you might as well come in." Emily said, letting the boys through into her house.
