So, basically if you're wondering why all the events are all over the place it's because Kousei and Tsubaki's 'relationship' is dysfunctional. Basically after the death of Kaori, Kousei was left in a vulnerable state leading to him using Tsubaki to make him feel better and fill him with happiness. Of course she can't bring him the same joy that Kaori did but he feels a lot better than he did before. Anyways, everything is moving fast because Kousei doesn't know what he wants so Tsubaki is the one to help him find out. She's too blind to notice because she's so in love with him.
