Chapter 7

Ariana's P.O.V.

"The coach really has you and the football team working extremely hard"I tell Justin as we get out of his car. We just came from his football practice. I watched from the bleachers for two hours while Justin was in the field.

"I know, he really wants us to win this season"He says. He tries to wrap his arm around me but I push it away. He looks at me with a confused look.

"You just came from football practice"I remind him. "So?"He asks. "Your sweaty and you smell"I honestly tell him and he chuckles.

"Come on, I don't smell that bad"He says and begins to chase me up our apartment building stairs. When we reach our floor, Justin grabs me and wraps his sweaty arms around me. He spins me around which causes me to shriek.

"Your so annoying!"I hit him when he puts me down. "I may be annoying but you love me"He chuckles and I wipe his sweat off my arms.

Justin unlocks our apartment door and we walk in.

"Hey Ariana"Lucas greets me. "Hey Lucas"I say as Justin walks into the kitchen. "Did you get your Henderson Family essay back yet from your Professor?"Lucas asks me.

"Yea, I did"I say and pull out the essay from my bag and hand it to him. "I got a D Minus"I tell him, upset. "What? Why?"He asks and looks down at the essay in his hands.

"Professor Collins took off points for the most stupidest things. Like in this sentence, he took off ten points just because I didn't capitalize the H in Henderson"I say and point to a marked sentence on one of the papers.

"Maybe he was just having a bad day"He says. "Maybe"I say.

"Let me see this essay"Justin walks from the kitchen with a cold water bottle in hand. He takes a few gulps and grabs the essay from Lucas. He looks down at it and shakes his head.

"This is ridiculous, you shouldn't have gotten a D minus. Want me to talk to your Professor for you?"Justin asks. "No, that's not necessary"I quickly say and grab back my essay. "It's just one bad grade, I'll survive"I tell him. "You sure?"He asks again and I nod.

Justin and my Professor in the same room, talking, is a bad idea.

We begin to hear laughing and all turn our head to see Paige and Angela coming from Paige's bedroom.

"Angela, what are you doing here? I thought we were supposed to meet up at your place?"Justin asks her.

What? I thought me and Justin were gonna hang out.

"Actually she's here to see me. We were just talking about my dinner date last night with Noah"Paige answers him.

"We're still on for the project though"Angela tells him. "Perfect. Do you mind waiting while I take a quick shower. I'll just leave with you so we can get to work on it"He asks her. "Sure, take your time"She tells him and he walks off to our bedroom. I follow after him and close the door behind me.

"You didn't tell me you were meeting up with Angela again tonight"I say while he takes out a change of clothes from our dresser. "Sorry"He apologizes.

"You've been working on this project with Angela the last two days. Can't you take one night off? I really wanted to hang out with you"I say.

"I know but this project is a big part of my science grade. I can't afford to fail"He tells me. "I get that but I miss you, we haven't spent time together since saturday"I say.

"Fine, when I get home, we'll put on a movie and cuddle together. I'll probably be back home around nine"He tells me and moves a strand of my hair behind my ear. He places a hand on my cheek and leans down to kiss me.
