Ariana's P.O.V.
I slowly open my eyes and wake up. I expect to find Justin laying next to me but he's not. Instead, I find a small note sitting on his side of the bed.
I open it and read the words written down.
"Dear Ariana, I have football practice today so I won't be able to hang out with you like I had said. I promise to try and make it up to you. Love you"I read the words out loud and sigh.
It's Saturday and me and Justin had planned to go out today. I was really looking forward to spending time with him but I guess I'll be spending the day alone instead.
I grogily stand up from my bed and trot over to the bathroom. I clean myself up before walking out of the bedroom.
"Good morning Ariana"Lucas greets me when I walk into the kitchen.
"Good morning Lucas"I greet him back. I notice that he's cooking breakfast. "What are you making?"I ask him. "Just some eggs and bacon. Do you want some?"He asks me and I nod.
I take a seat at the kitchen bar and watch Lucas cook our breakfast.
"You look a little down today, what's wrong?"He asks me. "I was supposed to hang out with Justin today but our plans got canceled because he has football practice"I tell him.
"That sucks"He says. "Tell me about it"I say. "So your just gonna stay home all day?"He asks me. "Pretty much"I nod.
"Why don't we go out and do something? I know I'm not Justin but I am your friend. Let me take you out, it beats sitting here alone and basking in loneliness all day"Lucas offers.
He is right.
Going out with Lucas sounds a lot better than staying home alone all day.
"Are you sure? If you have plans, I don't want you to cancel them just for me"I tell him. "I don't have plans, you don't have to worry"He says.
"Well than why not? I'll hang out with you today"I agree to letting him take me out. "Great, after we finish eating, we'll get dressed so we can leave for the day"He says. "Sounds good"I say.
Lucas fixes our plates and sits down next to me at the kitchen bar. We both begin to eat and make our plans for the day.
Paige soon comes out of her bedroom, dressed for the day.
"I'm going over to Angela's place, just to let you know Lucas"She speaks to her brother, completely ignoring my presence.
"Okay, have fun"He tells her before she leaves the apartment.
"I think this is the longest time me and Paige haven't talked to each other"I tell Lucas. "I know, it's been like five days. When are you guys gonna just make up?"He asks and I shrug.
"I don't know"I say and continue eating. We finish our breakfast and begin to get ready so that we can go out.

"That will be fifteen dollars"The worker at the paying booth tells Lucas. He pays for admission and we are handed a pair of golf clubs and golf balls.
We are currently at a mini golf attraction.
Me and Lucas walk over to the first golfing stop. Lucas urges for me to go first.
I place my golf ball down on the floor and position my club. I swing my club in the air and tap the ball with it. The ball rolls towards the hole in the ground and stops right next to it.
I walk over to the ball and hit it once more, causing it to fall into the hole.
"Not bad"Lucas tells me. "You think you can do better?"I ask.
