Chapter 32

Ariana's P.O.V.

Its thirty minutes past four when I walk into the police station that Justin is at.

I walk up to the front desk where a girl around my age talks with a police officer.

"Sign this please"The officer places a paper in front of her and a pen to sign her name. I walk up next to her and kindly smile at the both of them.

"Sorry to interrupt, I'm here about Justin"I tell the officer and he nods.

"Are you Ariana?"He asks. "Yes, are you the officer that I talked with over the phone?"I ask and he nods again.

"Can you explain to me why Justin was arrested?"I ask him, so confused on everything. When the officer called, he didn't tell me much on Justin's situation.

"He was arrested for being an accessory to drunk driving"He tells me and I furrow my eyebrows, even more confused.

Drunk driving? Justin was drunk and in the car with other drunks?

How could he be so stupid and irresponsible? I understand that he was having fun at his victory party for winning the championships, but Justin knows better than to get super drunk by now.

He said he wouldn't drink a lot anymore. After high school, he vowed to try and stay away from drinking.

First I find out that he's been smoking drugs, and now I find out that he's starting to be careless with alcohol?

I find myself starting to get really upset with this whole situation.

"I need you to sign a paper of release as well"The officer hands me a paper that looks a lot like the sheet the girl next to me is signing.

"Are you here to release someone from the drunk driving arrest as well?"I ask her and she nods. "Jesse and his other three shit friends were in the car with Justin"She tells me.

It takes me a few seconds to realize who she's talking about.

Jesse was the one I met last night at Justin's football game. I'm guessing the three other friends that this girl is talking about would be the three I met alongside Jesse.

To think I thought that Justin found some really nice friends. This makes me wonder if they are a bad influence, and have been influencing Justin to fall back into his old ways.

"I'm Zoey, Jesse's girlfriend"She introduces herself and lends out her hand for me to shake. "I'm Ariana, Justin's girlfriend"I say and politely shake her hand.

"It's nice to meet you. I met Justin before but I don't think he mentioned he had a girlfriend"She says.

"Is this the first time your boyfriend's been arrested?"I ask her and she shakes her head no. "I've had to pick him and his friends up from the police station plenty of times"She shrugs, used to doing this.

She signs the release papers for Jesse and his three other friends before handing me the pen. I sign my release papers for Justin and we both give the officer in front of us, back our papers.

Within a few minutes, Justin is released from a back room in the station. Jesse and his three friends follow behind Justin until they all stop in front of me and Zoey.

"Hey"Justin sheepishly smiles at me and scratches the back of his neck, nervously. I don't say anything back, I just give him a shameful and disgusted look.

"I think it's best if me and Justin leave now. It was nice meeting you Zoey"I tell her and wave her goodbye.

I walk out of the station, not even waiting for Justin. He follows behind me, and we don't say a single word to each other as we get inside Paige's car. I felt super bad having to wake her up and asking for her keys to her car, just so I could pick up my lying boyfriend from the police station.
