Ariana's P.O.V.
"How was your thanksgiving break?"I ask Lucas as we both sit down together in the living room of our apartment.
Me and Lucas are catching up while Justin gets ready inside our bedroom for football practice. Today is his first time back playing on the team.
"Thanksgiving break was fun. Me and Paige went down to visit our family and friends in San Diego"He tells me.
"How did it feel being back in your hometown?"I ask him next. "It felt good. I've grown up there most of my life so it felt nice being back and seeing people that I used to see on a daily basis"He says.
"It's always nice seeing old friends and family"I say. "How about you? How was your trip to Florida?"He asks me.
"It was fun. I got to make some lasting memories with Justin and I got to connect with my family. I miss them a lot so it was good bonding with them again"I tell him.
"How is it in Florida? I've always wanted to visit"He asks me. "It's very hot. They don't call it the sunshine state for nothing"I say, making him chuckle.
"I would love to travel the world one day. I have never left the West coast before"He tells me. "Really? You've seriously never left the West coast?"I ask him and he nods.
"So you've never been to New York?"I ask him and he shakes his head no.
"New York is beautiful. Everyone has to go at least once in their lifetime"I tell him. "The closest I've come to seeing New York is in gossip girl"He says making me burst into laughter.
"I don't think that counts"I tell him, still laughing. "It doesn't?"He asks and shake my head no.
"Seeing New York on a tv screen and in real life is completely different. You have to go, I think you'll absolutely love it"I tell him.
"We should plan it than"He says. "We should. It would be fun if we all go together"I say. "We just have to plan when we want to go"He says.
"I've always wanted to go during new years eve to see the ball drop"I tell him. "Why don't we go for new years. Paige would love to go to New York. She always dreamed of going there as a kid"He tells me.
"I agree, we should definitely go for New years. If we put all our money together we'll be able to pay for the trip"I say.
"First we have to talk with Paige and Justin to see if they're up for it"He says. "You just said Paige has always wanted to go so I'm sure she'll probably be up for it. Justin will be up for it too, he loves traveling"I tell him.
"You think we'll have enough money combined to go?"He asks. "If we put our minds to it and start saving now, I'm sure we will have more than enough money. Besides, we still have a month until new years. We have enough time to plan"I tell him and he nods.
I hear the sound of the front door open and Paige laughing.
"There's Paige now, let's tell her about our new years idea"I tell Lucas.
Paige enters the living room but she's not alone. Angela comes up from behind her, laughing as well.
"Angela, what a surprise"Lucas uneasily says and waves to her. He looks over at me and than back at Angela. He knows how much I hate Angela and understands why I'm upset with Paige for continuing to be her friend.
"I invited Angela over so me and her can catch up. I hope you guys don't mind"She says, mainly talking to me.
Of course I mind.
"It's nice seeing you again Ariana"She tells me. "I wish I could say the same"I say and watch as Paige gives me an angry look.
"Look, I've had some time to think over the past week and I just want to tell you that I'm sorry for what I did to you and Justin"She tells me.
